Playtech is not dumb and their profiling software is extremely advanced.
After some wins, you will not win for a long long time. Then they will give you a little and then if you keep playing they will take a lot back
If it is so easy for them to cheat, why lock accts? Why not just let me register and take my money?

I think the best way to clarify this is to ask either casino managements or Playtech itself...so we have. More when we have it.
Edit for typo.

How can you create a 2nd acct in Playtech? I think they place some kind of cookie on your computer that keeps you from accessing the "create new acct" button. Has anyone succeeded at this?

I strongly doubt this is how it works.
I know they have a Playtech ****list - once you're on it you can't open an account anywhere - unless you can convince them it was unfair to put you on the list in the first place.
It is possible to get off the list - depends on why you're there. One casino may consider you a bonuswhore while another with different (tougher) terms would welcome you.

Jetset,
Word by word came from 2 friends of mine. One of them even kept the transcript of the livechat where he got the info from. Many of my friends (half of them not even bonushunting) got accounts locked. They didn't really care before as they were not that desperate to play at Playtech and it just started to draw their concern recently. Personally, I am done with Playtech weeks ago and am not returning.
Allcasinocheat,
As I said in some other threads, Playtech is not that stupid. And I really won't suggest you to abuse them because you will find out in the end you are being abused by them instead.

Seems like a helluva way to run things because it risks the danger in some cases of throwing the baby out with the bathwater.
Is this an official Playtech or Playtech casino explanation from a credible source, BL?

Beside the fairness of their BJ game, the next thing most of us want to know about Playtech is why they lock accounts. Here is why: When you register, their system automatically looks up your previous gaming pattern (in other Playtechs) and decide whether they want you or not. It is not the bet size that this system looks for but rather your deposit/receive bonus/cash-in ratio. To lower this ratio, losing is NOT enough: you have to lose everything. For example, many of us who have self-control would cash-in any amount below original deposit as soon as WR is done. If you do this 3 times in a row, your career with Playtech ends immediately.
One more thing, Main Street Group has recently decided they would only allow any player to join no more than 3 of their 6 casinos. That means even if you are a desirable customer, when you register at a 4th or 5th, they will lock you right away.
