Sorry about that - but at least the reviews are real and not from canned scripts. I will look into regular updates when I can afford to hire staff LOL.

Well not updating reviews is misleading people who are new to online casinos.
I wont be going to your site anymore if some reviews are 2 years old.

Yeah yeah, I hear you LOL. It is old, and I don't necessarily update reviews.

Fortunately, not many people read it either LOL. I'm taking it off now. The only reason I didn't respond earlier is because I have been skipping all Windows threads until someone alerted me to this Got tired of reading the usual stuff!

... and thanks to B2G for actually READING it

In fairness to Got2Bet.com, the beginning of the review says, "Windows Casino burst onto the scene this summer - and I couldn't help but wonder why someone would choose such a name for a casino!"

This review was obviously made at least two years ago. It's clear that he doesn't update his site ery often if at all, but I don't think he actually supports Windows Casino.

Went to the site and read an article:

Scarlett's Betting Rules

Not true for me anyway.

Have a look at this review of windows casino from the spearmaster on got2bet.Is he joking or what?

"Before I start, though, I want to point out that the software manufacturer, Real Time Gaming, has a number of good casinos on the Net, and I can't recall having ever heard a serious complaint about any of their casinos - what I heard lots of was praise for the games."

Even comical ally wouldnt say that!

I've play there often and have not had any problems. When I win, payments have always been quick. They send out decent promotions fairly often. But all this is just one man's experience.

To be fair, you should probably do a search on this board for "Windows" to see what others have to say.

I remember those guys, they were invited to one of the talk shows in Israel to prove that their software was able to count card and "beat the blackjack table" but failed, quite miserably if I might add, on live show.

They were the laughingstock of the day and then they were forgotten, I didn't know they were connected to Windows casino.

Sorry, Hounddoggie, Windows Casino has a bed reputation.

Avi Goldman and Tony Friedman, owners of Windows Casino, locked out several players and kept their money. They also founded the Online Casino Managers Association to circulate information about players--at the same time they sold card counting software to online blackjack players!

If you want details, jsut use the "search" function here to look for posts about Windows Casion, Avi and Tony, and the OCMA. Oh, and check this out too:

Windows casino "Casino of the year 2001"??
For what?.... Ripping off more players than anyone else? And, just for curiosity's sake,
who bestowed this "award" to them?
Window's has one of the worst reputations of any casino opened in the past year. Are You a "Spin Doctor"??
Window's Casino.... Strike one
You are also advertising "Planet Luck" Casino
on your site.... another "loser".
Planet Luck..... Strike two
What's next?

Windows has been bashed quite a bit over the last month or so. I don't want to really go into that; however, I will give my experience with Windows which has been good.

1.) I've never a problem getting paid. In fact, I think the checks are sent ery fast. Furthermore, I've won quite a bit of money at Windows, and I've never had to beg or grovel for my money.

2.) Quick responses from the casino when I have a problem.

3.) A number of good promotions; although their contests are kind of hokey, i.e., hit a sequential royal and get a bonus. Yeah right, when hell freezes over.

It's been pointed out that Windows is assoicated with porn sites--hey, doesn't bother me. From the late 40's until the late 70's many Las Vegas Casino were run by the Mob. Did that bother anyone who gambled in LV during that time? I think not.

Was their blacklist ill conceived. I would say yes, but then as far as I know I'm not on it, so I have no ested interest in what they do with such a li...

I'm not hyping anything here, but I do have to say that the infinia card is a big improvement over checks. It could be better--infinia doesn't send out statements, the $3.50 fee for withdrawals is awful, and that's in addition to the fee from my bank *and* the fee of the ATM company--but the weird bouncing anonymous foreign checks system really sucks. Jetset could have jumped in about infinia, but he didn't, and I commend his restraint and integrity.

I find it hard to believe that I am the only one who has ever heard of sending a check back to the bank it was drawn on for collections. You send it to the bank it was drawn on and as soon as the money becomes avaliable from the account it was wrote against they pull the money and they get a fee for this. As for Tony the last email he sent me was this
Darrell
If I understand clearly your bank couldn't collect the check that we sent you and it was sent to another bank. Am I correct?
Let me excuse us Darrell but we are not responsible for your bank's inability to collect a check.

In this case unfortunately I can't do anything. However let me express my appriciation to you as one of the most aluable players of our Casino.
I created a special coupon just for you that you redeem you will be able to receive 10% bonus on your next deposit even though it's not your initial deposit. Your coupon code UVKT
I see no where in this email where he is checking into this but hey he doesn't...

Mary- Sorry about not being able to follow the thread! Yesterday was another WACKY WEDNESDAY here at the office with lots of extra work. Thanks for your help.

James- Send me your username and password, please.

kbrown69- As I said, we're going to investigate this situation. However I feel there's ery little we can do to get your money back from your bank."$36.00 other bank fees" in my iew is outright theft. If an online casino tried to do something like that we'd be out of business. You're 10% bonus on your next deposit will never expire. As soon as we overhaul our banking and payout arrangements we will notify you. We're expecting the changes to take place ery soon.
Sorry for sounding d***ish in my email to you.

Love,
Tony

This link will take you to a page full of Bahamas banks with phone numbers. Barclay's is on it, and I imagine that Bankers Bank is actually Bankers Trust.

Banking is the Bahamas number two industry after tourism.

The paper I received from my bank states "the fees charged were from Banker's Bank and the Barclays Bank of Bahamas we did not charge any fees for sending this in for collections." I have checked for a number for Bankers Bank with no luck. The paper attached reads 25.00 collection fees and 36.00 other bank fees. This is not the first check that I received from an online casino and never with this problem before. As for Tony maybe if his wording to the email he sent me would have been diffrent and he would not have been such a d*** about it maybe I would not have been as mad as I am about this. If anyone has any info on either of these banks I'd be glad to call them to get this straight.

The check that was recieved by my bank was for $64.00 so the charges on this check were NOT from my bank, had they been I would have gotten my money. However these charges were from Barclays Bank of Bahamas and wre charged before the check was even recieved by bank.So Im am still lost and have no clue why this check was barely half of what it should have been. The Pit Boss is right, a check either gets through or gets thrown back. If you pay $200 and have $199 in your account it will bounce and the payee will get $0.

I got three checks from Windows since AUgust and I never had to pay anything. I bank with Chase in NY.

I'll take your 10% BONUS if you don't want it.

$64 in fees? Talk about expensive!

My bank charges $25 in Thailand - so I put checks in my US account at no charge. But $64?

Tell us which bank it is, so we can be sure to avoid it...

Hi Mary,

Once again I'm sorry that you had these problems, but I'd like to set the record straight here, now in public.

1) We pay by banker's drafts, which are guaranteed by our bank and are pre paid by us. These can not be bad by definition. There are always sufficient funds on a bank draft.

2) A check either clears or bounces. There's no such thing as partial clearing.

Our check was good for the $125 that you won.

What happened in your case was, that your bank charged an exorbitant clearing fee on a bankers check that was issued outside the US. I'm truly sorry about that. You are the first one who ever had this problem. I'd appreciate it if you sent me the name and phone number of your bank so we can contact them. We find the fee that they imposed on you ridculous.

We offered the 10% as a consolation prize for your troubles. As soon as you find another financial institution you will be able to enjoy this bonus.

Tony
