Playtech is crooked. Same results for me. Never have I won anything playing Playtech BJ. When my favorite casinos switched from RTG to Playtech, I quit online gambling. At least with RTG I could see how it was cheating and use that to my advantage.

You can crucify me for this one but here goes. Anyone who wastes money on online gambling is f'ing nuts! All the software is rigged and you will lose money. The only people here on the board who tell you how great it is are Portal owners who are making money off YOU LOSING MONEY. Don't be stupid, there is no regulation of online gambling and these casinos are run in foreign countries by a bunch of thieves.

If you want to gamble, do it live in person on land.

Yeah, I guess it's just bad luck.

Dr (un)lucky,

You should contact the casino and ask for a record of your play logs. You could just be having bad luck. The logs will help you determine if that is the case.

I think Playtech will send you a log of your play. If they won't, that is evidence of cheating IMO.

So much "infinitely lower" that it can have a positive expectation. Let's keep it our secret, shall we?

I would think you might have begun recording W/L/T/BJ's after the first 9 losses or so when you had lost every time!

If you're drawn in again by their slick software, you might want to do that to have some data supporting your feeling.

I've played more BJ Switch than BJ at Playtechs but the 1000+ hands of BJ I have played there have been within expectation.

actually, I just looked at the playtech site and on their client list I count 18 playtech casinos I have played at. depositing $100 at each (on average) with typical match bonus, that might be $3300 or so (some don't match fully). Add $1500 or so of my own money (sans bonuses). Typically betting only $5/$10/$15 a hand (or 5 .25 coin VP), $4800 seems like a lot to lose. But not completely improbable I guess. The bizarre thing is with all these deposits I was never once up more than $100-$200 or so. The real question is, why do I keep playing here when I keep doing so bad? Maybe because these guys know how to sucker you in with their slick catchy software. Anyway, i still don't have enough data to say they are cheating. If they are, these guys are too smart to do it in a way they will get caught.

I’m convinced Playtech cheats. They even unknowingly admit they cheat, see their webpage at http://www.playtech.com/credibility.html

Playtech states: "each and every game [has] been fully tested and is supervised by accredited accounting firms around the world."

What accounting firms? They don’t tell us which firms are doing the testing and they offer no documentation of the testing. Talk is cheap. Anyone can claim their games are “tested”.

Playtech then goes on to say, "Our games are being tested for the monthly payout ratios and have been found to produce the average payouts known in the industry today."

In other words, they appear to be saying that their games aren’t random and fair. Instead, they distinctly say their games are configured to payout an average that they hope will be acceptable to the average gambler. In short, all their games, including blackjack and ideo poker, are nothing but glorified slot machines.

Unfortunately, eve...

Yes, many times using their bonuses. There is actually a way to beat these casinos, but their slow payments (and stealing behaviour) totally nullify the excitement of winning.

I have played at lots of playtechs (I count 13), plus have made multiple deposits at about 5 of these. I only keep trying because I like the slick playtech software and their first time bonuses. I have yet to win anything worth cashing out at a playtech! Meanwhile I have cashed out plenty at cryptos and MG's. What gives? I don't have the cold hard data to accuse them of cheating, and I am too intelligent to do so without such data. Conveniently for them, the game history only goes back about 20 hands or so. However, I am SUSPICIOUS at this point. No matter how many times I try I always get cleaned out after an hour or two (blackjack, VP only). has anyone cashed out a sizable amount at a playtech?
