This group of casinos is nothing better than Virtual. Yet they seem to hide themselves ery well and not draw any attention. It's great to see them go down.

If you look up those Gambling Grumbles you'll see that apparently what is happening at The Vegas Strip is a change of ownership.
With typical disregard for player sensitivities both the present owners and RTG seem to think that the players who are due payouts will just have to wait until the changeover has been completed, after which they say the new owners will pay out everyone.

I'm confused here - I have just checked the sites of this group and they appear to be operating?
What is it that has created the opinions that they have gone down the tubes, please?
PS: I have contacted them asking if they are still in business and paying their players.

If you email me, I'll try to get in touch with someone over there.
I'm not promising all your money back, but maybe something to work with.

I totally agree
If the software is left alone, i believe it fair, but i feel that at most playtec casino, they can change the odds.
In the past i have many time at club dice, now i cant win a dime at the other playtec casinos.
5 dollars from metting the cash in requirement, then bam 13 losing streak in war. The only way i play if they give free money

I know how it felt Mr.Wolf. Trust me, I'd been there. If you continue to play at Playtech, my suggestion is to play PaiKow or War when you catch a bad streak in BJ. But there is indeed nothing but good to stay Playtech-free. Good luck!

2kids,
Yes it was blackjack I was playing. I played Playtech many times last year when Sunny switched from Microgaming. At the time I did post about my experiences there, and I did note a few peculiarities about the blackjack game.
Like many others, Sunny closed accounts last summer pending security documents (which I sent) but then I was unable to get any further response from them, so I gave up. Apart from Kiw... | | Read Entire Entry |

To clarify this... I am not rich, nor am I a real highroller. I am just a guy who deposited a little and won ery big on a Jackot win there.
It is a LOT of money for me that I would not use to buy a BMW with, but to rather save it and pay for my living with.
The Strip & RTG should better work this out...

Joeyl,
Yeah pissed off big time at some unlikely results at a Playtech casino.
Also f***ed off with the amount of times dealer gets BJ to my 21 at MG casinos, and just now losing a 20 double down to a dealer's four-card 21, followed straight away by an ace on a 11 double with the dealer getting 19.
But mostly I'll be pissed off if we go down on Sunday.

Actually 2kids I was making the point that while I was sympathetic to the plight of anyone owed money by this group, it highlights the alue of checking out a casino before playing.
I quote: "While I feel sorry for those stiffed by Vegas Strip (I remember the good old days of generous promos and payments), it shows the alue of research before depositing."

Wolf,
I understand your feelings on not feeling too bad about people who don't check this board regarding rogue casinos. I didn't want to go into a huge background on this when I first posted, so I will now. Although I feel this situation to be a slightly different situation, because the Vegas Strip's phones are not being answered at all. I have seen many post complaining about late payments, etc, etc, but, a late payment is better than no phone, and probably, no hope in ever being paid. I was a casualty of The Casino Online, settling for $1500 of $3000 owed me ($2000 was my actual deposit, $1000 in winnings, so my net loss only(!) $500. Of the $1235 owed to me by the Vegas Strip, $200 is my deposit, and $1035 in winnings. I played at the Vegas Strip when they had the $100 for $100, 5x deposit and bonus. Since you remember those days, I am curious if you played there then. At that time, they too had many delayed payments, i.e. they could have folded then. Recently, I have been paid by them rath... | | Read Entire Entry |

I think if he was scammed 6K and still kept his sanity, he ought to be a highroller. If I were scammed 6K I think I would tie a bomb to myself and run into their headquarter.

The Vegas Strip Group were always dodgy. They were giving away hundreds of dollars every week to every player for about a year! I warned about them on Casinomeister when everyone thought they were great. They used to sometimes reverse cashouts back to your account for no reason. I rememeber their last payment to me took a few months (this was years ago) because I stopped playing there.

In defense of people who don't do so well reading the terms & conditions.Sometimes i think the terms are written in Norman French, the numbers in braille and are scattered around Casino Websites like it's a treasure hunt.

While I feel sorry for those stiffed by Vegas Strip (I remember the good old days of generous promos and payments), it shows the alue of research before depositing. Let's face it, in an unregulated market, there's no way to hold the rogues accountable so you've got to find out as much as you can before depositing.
I fear there are too many greedy players out there, who see lucrative sign up offers, then complain when they're stiffed all because they deposited without checking. Just searching on this board would have yielded the information that there have been payment problems with Vegas Strip for well over 18 months. Who in their right mind would deposit given that track record?

They owe me $6k as well and I dunno a solution yet. If they go down and RTG does not do anything for the stiffed players they ruim themselves and I will be the maddest person on this planet!
Heck no, I want ALL my money. Screw the half!!

Does anybody, anybody at all, have any info on what happened with the Vegas Strip group of casinos? (Eworld, Club Regal, Cleopatra's, Club Mardi Gras) I have a good deal of funds due to me, and they have disappeared. I have not seen anything on the internet, discussing the situation, and if RTG is planning (ha) on paying out at least half, like they did with The Casino Online.
Any information would be helpful
Thank you.
