An average bet size can be really misleading. Better would be to post BJ-win-loss-tie record and same for doubled hands.
But if one were to flat-bet $50/hand, you would probably have to play around 11,320 hands to reach 600,000 wagered. If you are saying you lost $12,000 in total (8k in bonuses and 4k of your own deposits) that would represent 240 units.
It'll happen once every 17 times or so.

IDDQD,
I stand corrected!! Thanks for "dropppin' that knowledge" on me and others who have had trouble understanding the difference.
I do still believe that some of what I said is true, however. The trouble comes in figuring out which part that is.

Hi
sorry it took me a while.
I checked my games log, and this is the result of my 3 weeks MG BJ.
I have played around 600K $ action.
an average of 50$ a bet.
lost 4K$ and with the bonuses lost 12K$.
can you please analyze that, and tell me whats the odds for it?

Johny-
You are not wrong in your assesment/assumption. I realized the returns had taken a terrible turn for the worse around the middle to late june.
I had other issues with them, but it was in addition, to receiving a ery bad return rate on many different games.
I kept playing, on almost a daily basis, into June & first part of July, with the same crap results. I finally on 7/12 wrote to Lucky Nugget and told them to remove me from their list as a player, because I was extremely dissapointed with their current percentage returns. Realize, I had been a regular player for more than six months prior, around $2k+ a month in deposits.
I played this casino for months, and can recognize when the return percentages have been slanted to the extreme. I used to think they were ery fair, but something was not good.
It's sort of what happened when I used to play at CON, and they switched over to their new software. It seems like they still maintain an overall high re... | | Read Entire Entry |

Johny,
Is there any way you could post your win/loss/push data?
AS,
I do not have the wrong idea about HA.
By HA I mean mathematical expectation of the game, which is the same theoretical alue for a given set of rules/software setup. It is a precise number.
Mathematical expectation is the same for one game or for million games. Yes, it can be changed for a day or two.
Looks like what you meant was the empirical average house win over some period of time.
Now if you are saying that one usually cannot know after a few dozen hands what is the mathematical expectation of their game, it is precisely my point.
Now as for your “sample of two weeks does not mean anything” statement, it is just not true in general. I can play 20 hands and have a definitive proof that casino is cheating. Just depends on the hands.
Antoine,
Casino marketing success does not depend on them cheating or not cheating it depends on existence of co... | | Read Entire Entry |

Microgaming would never rig their software. They are the best of the best, and their company is run by nuns and honest little old ladies from Peoria (for non-USA readers, Peoria is the paradigm American city, full of good old honest American citizens who live and breath good old honest American alues etc., etc ;-). Microgaming doesn’t know what cheating means.

"I lost more than 20K during the same period playing VP at 3 well-known MG casinos. I had never lost so much before in 2 weeks. Unable to get 4 deuces at the Power poker deuces wild (the payback of this game is around 99,4%). No RF in over 250 000 hands. For the first time of my life, i feel have been cheated. Something is wrong. Usually, MG is not so bad at VP."
Bad luck, i hit Royal other day at MG site playing small sign up bonus.

bonuslover,
Your attempts are misplaced. Address the subject, and offer something constructive, rather than personal attacks. That doesn't help anyone.
I am a gambler, and by definition I lose money. Anyone who claims otherwise is deluding themselves.

Hi,
Concerning this:
'By doubling BJ HA they can double their profits. How many would refuse to cheat if they could double their yearly income from $50K to $100K, or from $10mil to $20mil and get away with it?'
If you look at the math quickly in a matter of speaking you're right. But MGS isn't going to take this route for multiple reasons. While they may double the incoming money in the first 3 months in the long term it would be shooting themselves in the foot. This is what Gambling Software did and they dont seem to be doing ery well.
I'm not trying to start an argument, simply exchanging opinions.

I suspect that in the mind of typical casino this even would not be cheating, just "running a profitable business."
As for the getting away with it, I do not know of any publicly available information that would show their BJ HA to be 0.39% and not 1% or not to occasionally jump to 5% for a day or two.
I am not an apologist for MGS, and have lost tons of money to MGS casinos, but you seem to have the wrong idea about the HA. It is not figured on a daily basis. So just because it may be .39 or even 1 for a day, it would not mean anything, just as a sampling of two weeks play by one person does not mean anything.

Hi,
As far as I know microgaming blackjack is fair, but i dont claim to be a mathematician. In thier position they have too much to lose to even compromise thier integrity. Microgaming makes 25% of the profit from all of the casinos they power... what that means is they dont need to cheat, especially considering they have never done better for themselves. Furthermore for every game they sell to a prospective licensee they charge 10k upfront, some casinos have over 110 games... they would also not risk losing this potential cash position.
It's summer, so maybe the best thing would be to take a nice acation. Step away from the computer for a few weeks, when you get back into the game you'll be refreshed. This is gambling and unfortunately sometimes the house seems to have an edge that cant be beaten, when that's the case you have to reassess your situation, and take a breather.

If you could predict your wins, it would not be gambling! Averages are not the same as a sure bet!! Besides the law of averages say that sooner or later you will lose and be part of the .6%, don't you think.
It happens to all gamblers if you continue to play.
