bone-us, i think for Double Bonus (yea, extra double in there in my first post :> ) the strategy is pretty much the same as JOB, just discard a pat fullhouse for 3 aces.. i think there's another slight change, don't recall.
that will get you near optimum play tho.

I think you can buy VP Strategy Master at zamzone.com for around $30 that will generate a playing strategy for different pay-out tables.
Maybe you could ask about it in the Poker forum.

freebie - I'd give it a shot if they offered it. Only 2000 hands.

I think you mean "double bonus", not "double double bonus", right? I checked the double bonus and it looks like a 99.94% game according to the analyzer I found. Thanks for the info.

Sorry to get so far off-topic, but don't you need a specific strategy for the exact payout table? I know that the standard full pay JOB game has a single strategy but it seems like when you add a little payout here and take a little payout there, like is done in the bonus game, you would alter the strategy due to making some hands worth more or less.

I am somewhat against playing VP unless I have to. The ariance for VP is too big and it's almost impossible to analyze its fairnesss when you loose. Double double poker and other wild card games are the worst. They "might" add a tiny edge in their favor and no one will be able to catch them.
Clayman, the bonus you purposed has WR of 110x bonus!
Are you really that confident about their software? I only feel comfortable that most BJ games available pay 98% and up. I am not sure they do pay up to 99.97%. What "if" there is a tiny, unintended "flaw" to their system?

I hope it was in "Fun Mode" ! (That's where I learned them.)

Tremendous game - hope it lasts. Even better, hope it spurs the competition. Maybe they will offer promos intended exclusively for SD to help promote their new game. That'd be cool. Buy 5000, get 500, play 10X. C'mon Ryan - what do u say?

It's nice to see single deck available somewhere. Too bad it doesn't have a lower minimum.
If they would lower the minimum and figure out how to make a full pay JOB game like is available just about anywhere else they could really distinguish themselves as having some of the best games available.

Thanks Andrew. In order to Upgrade, I had to press Upgrade. Way too logical for me

I was determined to learn all the rules, and so played the single deck game for about 150 hands before I finally got a legit soft-doubling opportunity (lost the hand of course). The game could be described as "Vegas Downtown rules with Double after Split", a ery good game with only 0.03% house edge against basic strategy (perhaps 0.02% with card-dependent ariations). The only negative is dealer hitting soft 17. If dealer stood on soft 17, the game would have a player edge of 0.16%, which of course could never last out here.

(Numbers above from Snyder's "Blackjack Formula".)
