I was thinking about them just the other day. They used advertise heavily, but I had not seen an ad for them in months and hoped they had closed down.
Their cheating was no accident. Don't give them another chance.

Just got a promo Email from these lowlife, so it's time for a reminder: Casino Bar, the casino that was proven to cheat by dealing "seconds".
Read this thread and stay away.
Alternatively, just stay away.

One way cheats can survive is to open up again under different names. Devious, desperate bastards, aren't they? Clearly the word spread, Casino Bar emptied, and this is a kind of "death rattle".
mywebtvcasino.com
casino77.com
mgaming.com
casinobyphone.com
casinophone.net
phonecasino.com
cellularcasino.com
online-casinos.casinobar.com
(And not forgetting casinoonair.com, of course)
LMAO - "Casino77" is already "closed"! They can't have got too many customers; can't imagine why.
All the "phone" URLs take you to "cellcasino.com". Ironic, since most people'd like to see the slime behind Casino Bar in a prison cell.
Needless to say, avoid all the above casinos like the Black Death.
(EDIT: pasted full URLs and ended up creating links - whoops)

There is another risk to gambling with proven cheats. Now that they have been exposed and have limited future opportunities, what makes you think you will be paid, even if you defy the odds and will a little?
At some point they will just take the money and run. How could you expect cheats to behave honorably with a failing business where there is no legal authority to punish them for doing so?

the 6.2% HA is the Wiz's best guess using the cheating strategy he alleges that they might have ( my wording here is deliberatly ambiguous - the way they are cheating is still not conclusively proven, but the fact that they are cheating has been proven again and again, by arious experts).
imo, if they can rig it to 5%, 6%, or even 0.22% (normal ha for their rules I think) then they can easily rig it to 20%. Why not? They've already been proved as cheaters, you think they care if they got cheating even more? And maybe their plan is to "win you over" with a low cheating game on smaller deposits, then give you a 500$ match bonus and rig it to 10%... and what will happen? You'll lose the bonus, you'll lose your cash... and then you'll come on here and cry, and guess what, we already know that they cheat!
/end rant. yes, i'm still ticked that they stole (and that's what it is, people) money off of me when I played there.

No need to "wondering" or "beginning to think". I'm sure you were lucky that you had received a fair game. There is no way for you to survive playing thru 350 games in a rigged BJ game with HA 6.2% (I take gamblinboi's figure). It is foolish to think that you can overcome a cheated game by luck in 350 games.
Despite all of this, I am not sorry I took the 250% bonus here. I never once told anyone else to play here. In fact I strongly suggest to everyone that they DO NOT play here. I recommend everyone boycott Casino Bar/CasinoOnAir.
I see lots of double standards in your posts. This is one. How could you recommend everyone boycott Casino Bar/CasinoOnAir except yourself. If the deals are really too good to pass up and if luck can beat a gafted game, why not others as well?

I am wondering if they flicked a switch and gave me a fair game or if I was just really lucky. I am beginning to think the latter.
I have reviewed the logs and based on the frequency of the smaller cards (2-6) for the dealers 3rd card, I am beginning to think it was rigged after all, but that I just happened to get a lot of bj's and that's why I ended up winning.
Despite all of this, I am not sorry I took the 250% bonus here. I never once told anyone else to play here. In fact I strongly suggest to everyone that they DO NOT play here. I recommend everyone boycott Casino Bar/CasinoOnAir.
The point I was trying to make is that even a rigged game can be beat with a big enough bonus. And as you can see a $200 win from a $20 deposit is nothing to laugh at. It took 'em a while but they did pay me.
There's not enough room here to post my gaming logs. I will, however, pass my logs onto others for evaluation, and will post a link to this when available.

More BS promos from Casino (Should Be) Bar(red forever) in the inbox, max $200 bonuses with play requirements that'd eat up bonus, deposit & probably most of your computer before you're halfway through them.

(Cutting & pasting without permission - I hope Michael doesn't mind)
"On September 6, 2002, I returned to Casino Bar to see if the dealer was still dealing seconds. I think it was sporting of Casino Bar to leave my account open all this time...
...To confirm the Custom Strategy Cards retest I tested Casino Bar again on December 13, 2002. However I speculated that the system may have been programmed to give me a fair game. So I played from a friend's home on his account, which I funded. My test was the same as my first and second tests, the frequency of the dealer busting on the third card when the player had a total of 16 to 21 and the dealer was in danger of busing on the 3rd card."
Michael, dear Michael, did it not occur to you that, after you exposed them, the reason they left your account open was in the hope you'd re-test, and that your account was set up to receive an honest game?
All this confirms that 1) Casino Bar are cheating, 2) Casino Bar, fa... | | Read Entire Entry |

The wizard did a retest to Casino Bar's dealing seconds again last week. Out of 160 hands where the dealer could have expected to bust 73.46 times on the third card, he only busted 43 times, 4.94 standard deviations short of expectations, for a probability of 1 in 2.6 million.
For all the details isit www.thewizardofodds.com/game/casinobar.html#retest2.

I just want to compliment everyone who has kept this story in front of the gambling public. It would be ery sad if Casino Bar was allowed to stay in business with the money of fresh ictims. There should be no second chances for online casinos proven to cheat, just as would be the case for a fully regulated land based casino.
The only difference is that Casino Bar's corporate death sentence will be imposed by the individual members of an informed public.

From CasinoMeister:
Today there is a different story. The game of Blackjack was retested in September by the Wizard, and he got a fair game, but the webmaster of Custom Strategy Cards also did a retest in November, but got an unfair game in the same manner of dealing seconds as before. Speculating that Casino Bar programmed the system to give the Wizard personally a fair game, he played under another name and from another computer. As expected the results showed Casino Bar is still dealing seconds. He also ideotaped his play this time because Casino Bar was aggressively threatening legal action in September and October. For the specifics isit http://www.thewizardofodds.com/game...ar.html#retest2

I would recommend that readers take a look at Foster's factual editorial on Casino Bar and Casino On Air on the link he has posted above. It seems to me that his November tests were thoroughly and conscientiously documented and raise alid questions about the integrity of this software at the time of his presumably unannounced tests.

It doesn't matter that the offer was "too good to pass up". Of course they'll throw out "good offers" - that's why I bumped this, because they had just sent out a load of "good offers". I'd say they can afford one or two "good offers" - how many thousands of dollars did the magical "secret seconds dealer" win for his casino? Enough for a few "good offers"?
If a casino is a PROVEN cheat then only a fool patronizes them. Whether or not they happen to have switched off the seconds dealer and switched on an RNG for a couple of weeks while their new Lambs To The Slaughter take up the Good Offers (and then come here saying "I won XXX dollars at Casino Bar!!!") is beside the point. Cheats are cheats.
Every dollar you deposit with them is one more step on their road to recovery.
Let's stick 'em six feet under, not help them back to profitability, for heaven's sake.

I think its possible they are running an honest game as of right now. I received a 250% bonus offer on my $20 deposit, and it seemed like too good of a deal to pass up, even if the game was still rigged. I figured there was no better opportunity for me to test the game. Here's the offer (by invitation only):
Subject: 250% Special Bonus on your next deposit!
Date: Mon, 2 Dec 2002 18:19:06 +0200
Dear CasinoBar Member,
Deposit a minimum of $20 at CasinoBar using your PrePaid ATM, NETeller,
or Citadel Chex account and get a $50 Special Bonus. Wow, that's a 250%
Bonus! Act now, this offer expires December 7th 2002. [End Message]
Anyway, I played approximately 350 hands of blackjack, using standard basic strategy, and cashed out with approximately $200. (All I deposited was $20) On 2 occasions I doubled down with a $25 bet and won. Other than that I played with bets averaging $7 per hand, and I won and lost just about the same number of hands, but doubles and ... | | Read Entire Entry |

I'm not sure if those comments referred to me or not.
I repeated the test to independently confirm the Wizard's published update that he found no anomalies on his retest. I did it because I personally confirm all the material I publish, not to gamble.

The fact that they were proven to cheat so that they will continue to cheat is not hard to understand. Since they are already broke in their reputation, what else they have to lose?
Don't take any bait no matter how large from a thief, you won't make it anyway.

Apparently these people are addicted to cheating. They continue to deny facts proven beyond reasonable doubt and step up the marketing to find new ictims for their scam. In the abscence of effective law enforcement all we can do is to warn others until they fold for lack of business.
Their telemarketer offered me a $750 match bonus and a promise that I could get a refund from her if the game produced results that were out of line. Fortunately I am not addicted to spending time and money with proven cheats.

OK, they're sending out more promo Emails, so it seems time to refresh a few memories.
Before you play at Casino Bar READ THIS THREAD.
Then decide if you want to go ahead.
And if you do, admit you have a serious problem and contact Gamblers' Anonymous as quick as possible.

I believe I recall another company, claiming to be a marketing company in the States who represents this client, also recently threatened another webmaster in a similar manner. I think it was in a thread I read over at GPWA, but could be mistaken. Apparently, they are still trying to play the role of the school-yard bully to cover up what they've done rather than to just admit it and pay up.

After I lost big time at Casino Bar in August 2000 and presented manangement with my results of several hundred hands logged card by card, the also gave me several no deposit required bonuses. In playing out these bonuses my results were quite good and the nearly unbustable dealer had been replaced with one who drew 10's at a normal rate. Eventually I won back the whole lost $10,000. Casino Bar does have an honest game lurking somewhere on their servers. You just never know which one you will get because they have been proven to have a rigged game available also. The honest game has a house advantage of .2 percent, the rigged one is more than 5%. Even a game with a 5% advantage can be beaten in the short run, but I would never play there again with my own money.

Casino Bar actually offered me $20 (NO PURCHASE) for my birthday a few weeks back.
I had to go into the cashier and enter a coupon code to redeeem. Wagering requirement was 4x the $20.
After meeting the wagering requirement, I had a balance of $32.
I then bet the whole $32 on one hand of bj, which is something I almost NEVER do. I won the hand, and cashed in. I got paid a few days later.
The moral of the story is that when your playing with someone else's money, even a rigged game can be beaten.
