Could be - I only offered it as a possibility. I imagine it might be obvious by looking at the bank stmt. I know in many places they tell you explicitly do not hit the button twice, along with don't even hit the "Back" button while you are in a secure area.
Just because it might say "Transaction is in progress" is no guarantee that hitting the button twice won't cause 2 transactions. Sometimes the buffer can fill with keystrokes or mouse clicks and execute them after the first one is completed.
Have you ever actually hit the button twice?
Like you say, he could be just one out-of-control ex-gambler.

It's sickening to watch posters ridiculing a player who has had - to say the least - a ery bad run, possibly got cheated out of a lot of money. I only played once at Willian Hill, and I must say the number of times the dealer won in a row was kind of 'supernatural'. William Hill is certainly not a casino that I would recommend.

I am just saying, this guy probably got a serious gambling problem and lost everything. It is more than common to hear people of his kind saying 'did I lose that much?'.

That's why gamblersanonymous was set up.

Don't know why I should try it - never even mentioned that could be the problem....

Right on the nail.

It is impossible to double charge yourself by pressing the 'submit' button twice. As a new feature of their cashier, the player will get a message saying "transaction in progress please wait" whenever the player initiates a second transaction before the first is done. Try it, jpsartre and Clayman. Hence my attention was drawn to ships1 emphasis on "Sometimes I have had 25 losing hands before a small win".

Did u ever notice "extra money" in your casino account?
Are the debits on the bank statement alot of the same amount at the same time?
Sounds like a mess - I'd take a screenshot of your bank statement and start sending it to the e-cash guys of the casinos. Your bank statement is proof of what happened. Work backwards from it.
You had the extra 35000 in your bank account? - no NSF notices from the bank during this time? Don't know if that's good (no NSF charges) or bad (you would have been alerted to the situation sooner).
Any activity since the date of your last bank statement?
The fact you don't know exactly how much you intended to deposit bothers me a little.
If all these amounts on your ...

It sounds like you are using the switch system.
If so, they have a code of practice. http://www.switch.co.uk
If ecash dont help, contact your bank.

Again, I can only urge you to call E-cash to sort this out. I assume your in the UK in which case the phone-number is 00 800 0874 0274.

Another thing: Don't worry if the statements look funny. I just tried to check my statement at a Crypto casino and I simply cannot figure out their system and how they get the amounts they do.

It does sound strange that WH would overcharge you such a great amount but if the mistake is on their side I'm sure the matter will be resolved.

I really don't know what I said wrong in my post. I was just trying to discuss about the topic. I enjoy occasional sacarstic humour but sometimes it is uncalled for. I really don't understand why Max consistently allow you and zrapture and caruso to bash other members who share same rights as you

In answer to the comments made to my original message. What I am saying is I cannot get the statments online with will hill, only a few dates and those statements are incorrect, they actually show amounts all beit small 60gbp , 80gbp missing. ie:200 in casino acount, then a game code showing a loss of 10 leaving a balance of 110 instead of 190.When I have gone to deposit money and pressed the deposit button on several occassions it has said transaction already in progress. I never deposited a large amount of money into the account, always 100 - 200 gbp at a time.As far as I was concerned in all this totaled approx 15,000 not 50,000. I am fully aware of how to play casino games I have bet many times before but in land based casinos.

mrracerack, in every topic there is at least one post of yours where u call me, bl or others stupid.

I would be glad to argue with you however my style of arguing would get me a permanent ban on WOL thats why I have no comment for you.

I also thought that he played a lot more than he wanted, not that he was charged more. Do you really believe WH would overgharge 35k?

Ship1, I am ery sorry to hear of your problems. Your story saddened me. I sure hope some rays of good fortune appear. I also know the sorrow of loses. Fortunately, I have not had the same results with online wagering that you mentioned currenly happening.

hm... That's not the way I read it. He also says that money have gone missing. I assume that didn't mean they've gone missing because they were lost. Maybe ships1 can enlighten us?

I thought he meant he deposited (and lost) more than he thought he had??

As usual the two posters above me seem to be missing the point. The main problem is that the player deposited £15000 but was charged £50000, not whether he played perfect BJ or was chasing losses.

ships1:

Did you call E-Cash about this? That's the company in charge of the financial transactions of William Hill. You can find the number on their homepage.

You are NEW to online gambling and you are broke?

This is news to me. My advise:
1, learn how to play blackjack correctly
2, contact will hill to see if they can do anything about your debt, most casinos are willing to receive some $ instead of none (if you are really broke)
