If an operator could set each individual game to their own payouts, don't you think Sunny would have come right out and said so? Surely they would have to know if this were fact or not?
C'mon guys, use your brains!

I can respect a casino being concerned about the overall reputation of the brand they are using. They should be, however, From the numerous things that have been stated by Sunny since they changed, the references that have been made, were based on their numbers and their situation, not other operators.
Perhaps I missed a release, but I never read that the reason they switched was that the competing MG units were "Rigging" thus creating a possible problem with the brand. They pretty much, ALL get accused of rigging, MG has been no exception.
For what you describe to occur, this would mean that each casino operator can, "Tweak" his/her casino independently of MG. I don't think this can happen. They may have SOME backend options that they can play with, but I'd be surprised if the actual RNGs for table games itself was one of them.
They may be able to adjust the slot machines, VP schedules, min. and maximums, things like that; that are done everyday even on land ... | | Read Entire Entry |

My interpretation of Sunny's position is the same as KX on this ie they claim they were dealing a fair game while other licensees weren't.
Whether this is true or not, only time will tell.
However, I will make the observation that while it's been particularly tough for me to come out ahead at certain Microgaming casinos' blackjack (without the benefit of a bonus)often having to utilise more than one deposit and larger bets later in my play, the experience was totally different at Miami Beach (MG ersion).
I took part in Sunny's international blackjack competition last year, and played every weekend for around seven or eight weeks. I made it through to the final and every single week, bar one when I cashed in even, I made a profit.

There always snags switching things over KX. The announcement I read, said they would be putting up the sites on the 8th and that there might be some down time.
I certainly don't think most people consider Playtech an upgrade from MG. As I said, lateral, at best.IMO
I have no Idea how Playtech does their ecash. As long as the $$ gets there and back I don't much care.
They should offer the lite ersion, so we can agree at least on that one.
As for the other stuff, I guess time will tell.

The_CPA; It seems you didn´t read what I wrote. I said that it´s understandable IF Sunny was indeed dealing a fair game while others weren´t...
Intercontinental doing it professionally? That´s not my opinion.
*They changed to cheaper software to cut costs. That is quite apparent. Despite this they are saying they do it for the quality of the software... Is there anyone out there prefering Playtech to Boss??
*Try to pay by PayPal at NY or USA. You´ll get a nice Casino Tropez logo...
*They announced that the games would be up and running on 7:th and they weren´t until the 9:th.
*They have no option in the software NOT to download EVERYTHING. If you´re using dial-up you´ll have to wait for 3-4 hours before being able to play a simple game of Black Jack. You just have to download 45 games whether you like it or not.
Ofcourse they are not stupid enough to blame Boss for dealing a nonrandom game. Boss was the first software provider to be licnesed on Isle... | | Read Entire Entry |

KX,
Sorry, I just don't buy into the thought that Sunny went thru all this because they felt the games were rigged in their favor and they were making a little too much money! The present online environment being what it is, the opposite is a lot easier to swallow.
Having said that, there is absolutely nothing wrong with making a buisness decision to switch software to get cheaper fees or whatever. These silly press releases are anything but professional. IMO
Intercontinental, just switched too and look at the difference in the way they handled themselves. Very Pro! If they do have a problem with Boss, they're handling it as it should be handled.
I just don't feel that anyone makes, what I feel is a lateral switch at best, unless it is to increase profitability. It is also an extremely risky proposition.
It's not like 1cnp upgrading to Crypto!
I don't think it's ever been denied that the casinos are set to payout within certain limits. So are land casinos i... | | Read Entire Entry |

I can't find why the casino and micro fell out. What on earth started all this off?
Dear Croup,CPA.Joeyl can't understand why the RNG is resettable.
Is the RNG built by micro?
Are different Micro casino's setting thier RNG to different percentages than other Micro's?
If not then why take the time to build the RNG with the ability to change settings if all the Micro casino's use the same setting all of the time?
Who controls the settings of the RNG,Micro or the casino's?
Is it possible for a casino to reset the RNG without Micro knowing instantly,or ice ersa?

Unfortunatly this is an official press release. Sunny realy need to grow up a bit and publish some facts instead of rumours and hearsay.
How can they seriously put in that anonymous email that describes the behaviour of an RNG? Anyone with the slightest bit of coding ability could tell you that - this is not news,
They have also been known to be misleading in their press releases in the past. In their first one they wrote - "On February 22nd Microgaming, after many phone calls from Casino Fortune, agreed that the matter would be investigated and that a report would be sent to us from the auditing company on the following Monday. This was never done and up to this time Casino Fortune has not received December’s report. An urgent meeting of the Sunny Group Board was held and Microgaming was given 3 weeks to provide the report."
But this old page displays a link to the document http://www.casinofortune.com/pwh.as...3530496&tc=1068

The_CPA; If you run a casino and chose to run it fair then I guarantee that you would be irritated knowing that others using the same software were cheating!
The fact that the others cheated would steal reputation also from your casino since you used the same software... So, IF Sunny ran a fair game and IF the RNG is tweakable then I completely understand Sunnys accusations!
The thing that makes me a bit sceptical is that other softwareproviders out there never try to prove that competiting softwareproviders deal rigged games. This makes me wonder if every software is rigged or if it´s just to big risks involved in trying to "kill off" a competitor.

RNGs: This is certainly more of Jerry G. type question, but common sense tells me that an RNG is; in simple terms, a piece of software that is "Programmed" to deliver unpredicable results. All software has to be programmed in some way to accomplish the task it was designed to do, including RNGs. Therefore any software that can be programmed to produce "Unpredicable" results can most certainly be programmed to produce "Predicable" results.
I don't see a bombshell here! LOL We talk about tweaking all the time. If MG was tweaking anything on their end, you would have to think it is to increase their profit or the profitability of the operator...right? So if there is a dispute between the provider and the operator involving RNGs, logic would tell me that the operator isn't complaining about making too much money...right?
If this IS the case then that can only mean that the software is tweaked in favor of the players overall! Hurry! Download MG Casinos Quick!... | | Read Entire Entry |

Trojans attacking and destroying hard drives? An online casino sending new hard drives (by courier?) to anyone who claimed a Trojan attack?
Can this be true? I am no rocket scientist but this looks like BS to me?

Am i understanding you wrong? It seems you are describing that the payback % can be set at different levels depending on what the casino wishes.
And this is one of the big 4.
Isnt this what everyone who talks about player profiling, abnormal streaks, cheap software that has lock down mode capability is describing?
If this is true, then i believe this is a
major revelation that has huge implications.
Please tell me I am misunderstanding the meaning of " Based upon the weighting of the RNG the result will come back as within probability or skewed".

PRESS RELEASE
Casino Fortune Finally Obtains Player Balances, But At What Cost?
In the few weeks since Casino Fortune’s servers were seized by Mohawk Internet Technologies (MIT) and Microgaming, there have been death threats, Trojans which crashed customers’ hard drives, spam emails, and newspaper articles about Martin Moshal in major South African newspapers.
After being subjected to unwarranted embarrassment by its inability to pay players because of the withheld balances, Casino Fortune is relieved to finally obtain this ital information. The player balances were returned on Friday, 12th April and the technical and operations staff spent considerable time during that weekend erifying the balances. ‘It is a relief, however we cannot forgive MIT and MGS for withholding our player balances for such a lengthy period,” said Peron Mahabir, IT Director. “This was a deliberate act to sabotage our business and we expect to be compensated for losses,” he added.
