ACC - I think that is a scurrilous suggestion bearing in mind Vahe's personal sound reputation and that of CON in general. I do not believe there is anything underhand in the revision of the CON results.

"Mistakes are always possible when working with datasets this large and collection methods that are ery complicated. We are dedicated to provide accurate information and if errors are uncovered in our processes, we will ackowledge them publically."

All the more reason for alidation, in my opinion.

Just a short note:
We were ery pleased with True Gambler's willingness to review the results and their professional attitude.

Because of G2E and other business trips that I had to make - now typing this from Hong Kong's Airport ;-) - I didn't manage to post the True Gambler's answer immediately.

Good luck,
Vahe

Smacker, I think you are confusing doubt with defence here, simply because I do not share your iew of this matter.

I will continue to suggest that independent expert alidation is necessary for as long as confusion and legitimate debate as seen on this message board continues. I am interested in the truth regarding both Odds On and Microgaming and the more errors, ommissions and incompleteness on this presentation I read about the more uncertain I become. If you truly alue accuracy, I would hope that you, too would want to see this matter cleared up instead of throwing the "in it for the money" insult around.

In a matter with such damaging implications it is my opinion that more care would have been appropriate before going public, but that is now water under the bridge and we are left wrestling with the questions that TG's stats have raised. And they are still questions as far as I am concerned - not conclusions.

TG, thank you for pointing out that your CON apology ...

It is truly gratifying to know that having honest software is paying off for Vahe. Good reputation was always important to CON, and this reputation is affirmed even further now.

No, Jetset.

EDIT: I think you might have erified that before making an errant statement, although I appreciate the desire to jump at the first sight of a chance to chuck a quick stone.

Unforntunately, this wasn't it.

Jetset, once again you claim that certain posters jump the gun to scream rigged at microgaming, you once again have jumped right in to defend the casinos without any knowlegede of the situation. Im sure if their were flaws in the collection methods of the MG stats TG would have been more then happy to point them out, they seem much more objective and open to criticism then many of the website owners who will stop at nothing and shamelessly come to the defense of their meal tickets at every small thread of doubt in the TG findings. TG is not out to "get" anyone, as we see by their findings on RTG, they simply wish to bring some legitimacy to this oh so shady business. To jump on their backs everytime a poster finds some possible flaw in their findings is just as bad as the people whom have choosen to find guilt in the casinos without a thourogh examinination of the findings (although they seem pretty straightforward to me, a 4th year health science major who has taken his share of stats classes...

Jetset, this error was covered in the addendum, it is not a new error. That message was sent to Vahe the day before the addendum was released.

I think Dr. Lucky makes a pertinent comment here - it certainly indicates that this matter should have received greater alidation before TG went public with it, and a somewhat more substantial apology than the one above is due to CON imo.

I don't follow the logic of other posters here, however - the conclusion I draw from this is that following a protest by CON, Truegambler has found another error in the OCA results and that now CON is exonerated from implications that its software was cheating. I imagine that Vahe probably arrived at that conclusion by expert analysis before questioning the TG stats.

I am also puzzled that there is apparently no comment from TG of a re-check on the Microgaming and Odds On results that could presumably also be affected?

And the reaction among some here is not to pause for a moment and consider this possibility, but to slam Microgaming ( not Odds On - again selective morality) for not commenting on the original flawed "presentation". ...

This is somewhat disturbing because it illustrates that TG's methods are not infallible. Nevertheless, as said above, the fact that MG hasn't said a word is pretty damning. If they weren't cheating, they would have spoken out like randomlogic. I do think TG owes randomlogic an elephant sized public apology for their mistake.

Faced with the facts, there's not at lot they can really say. They either keep quiet and hope it all blows over, or say "we were cheating, got caught, so we stopped cheating (until the coast is clear - then we'll start cheating again)".

My ote: silence.

Good to hear. I'm glad Cassava/Random Logic took interest in the report and addressed the issues. I'm also glad to hear that the results conclusively proved that CON is fair.

Now if only the other companies in the report (cough MG cough) would have the balls that CON has to address the TG report.

As I have mentioned in one of the previous threads, we have questioned the results of the True Gambler report. They have agreed to review and informed us as follows:

"Upon a full review of our data and statistics engine code, we discovered the cause. There was a mistake in our presentation of the data. Prior to June 1, 2002, split hands were being excluded from the data set for the stats calculations. The reason for this is there was an error in the recording of split hands to our servers. We have adjusted the report to exclude all hands prior to June 1, 2002.
You will see that Random Logic is now well within expected probabilities. We apologize for the mistake. We appreciate your concerns.

Thanks
Chris Hughes
TrueGambler.Com Inc."

As always, we are willing to work with everyone who has concerns about the fairness of Cassava casinos.

Best regards,
Vahe
