That would have been Mitch or Mitchnik I guess, KX. I had extensive dealings with him too whilst he offered excuses and professed to be working on the owners to get our people paid out.

Then he handed us off to this creep Lymenstone because the casino management had allegedly changed, and that was the last we heard from him.

I'm with Spear on this - in today's industry these people have to follow the lead of the big providers like Microgaming and Cryptologic and accept at least some responsibility to assist players left stranded by failed casinos using their software.

He did comment that Carib had been owned by a gaggle of lawyers, and that Chartwell had also been taken for a ride and was seeking those responsible.

Needless to say it is difficult for some of us to accept advertising from or even support Chartwell clients on the basis of this "hands-off" stance.

I personally believe it is Chartwell's responsibility to do proper due diligence on its clients - and accept or at least share some responsibility when a client goes bust or disappears from the radar.

But this is nothing new - Chartwell has in the past been non-responsive to queries - and though they may actually answer these queries now, the responses are not encouraging in the slightest.

I am only owed $350 by this casino so I haven't bothered spending too much time solving the problem, but I am a bit curious to what has happened.

I played back in May, and a few months later their website disappeared. I thought it was a temporary problem, but it never showed up again. The casino was Chartwell powered just like Six Gun who also disappeared (or rather changed software). I was actually paid by Six Gun (but it seems lots of others were not).

So does anyone know? What happened? Has anyone got paid? Has anyone been on Chartwells backs for this?
