Next, uninstall whichever ersion of Java you may have.
Reboot.
Download Crockford's from either the website or CD. It should download just fine now.
Reinstall Java.
I tried and did everything you suggest. And it's still not working... Gee ~ ! I hardly have any problem to download any casino. And this is killing my interest and patience now....

Thank you! I can download starcity, but can't open the game and it freezer my computer. What a pain (maybe save me money.... LOL)
I just invest $5000 to a stock and is waiting for the cashout from BlackJackclub and casino.net. So I am not in rush anyway, but will definitely try your suggestion here! The casino need to change something, otherwise they lose a lot of business from this issue.
It sounds like their game is ery slow but fair. I will give a try after I tried the suggestion and receive the CD. Please rub your lucky dust on me...
Have a good one ~ !

Yes, the download problem relates somehow to Java -- and once it is downloaded, you may find that you'll need to download Java again from the Sun/Java sites to be able to play any flash games. In my case, after about three tries (and it loads soooo sllooowwwly), I called customer service and had a guy walk me through what I needed to do with respect to the Java stuff. It finally did work, but it's a pain in the backside.

[Max says: After being asked to leave Andreww has returned under this name. Membership terminated.]
I can't agree more. The Crocksford software is ery old-fashioned, but it's fair. Although it doesn't seem to be completely random, it doesn't take you down but only ensures that you don't win too much. Payouts are in fact exeptionally fast.

Swin-
Lol -- I have the same problem, particularly with RTG. The damn thing goes so fast that I tend almost to feel hypnotized by the speed (like you, just repeatedly clicking "same bet"/"deal"), and before I regain consciousness I feel like I've lost about 125 straight hands and all of my money is gone. (Hhhmmm, I wonder if the developers took this dynamic into account when they constructed the software.) Yes, I should exercise more self-discipline -- but if that were my strong suit, I'd be doing push-ups or writing novels instead of this, wouldn't I?

Thanks for your comments. caps and Johnny.
My comments after serveral hundred of hands.
1. It's slow, and no option to swithch off the sound. Only can make the olume to zero and you can still "hear" the lady saying "Player Wins" (and that's the only oice I would like to hear from her.)
2. About fairness. No enough hands to conclude anything. But seems fair to me.
3. About streakiness. Should be different from other software becasue Crockfords deals cards from a shoe (though it shuttles quite frequently). My limited hands played does show it's still streaky. Have got several 8-9 lossing streaks but only several 5-6 winning streaks.
4. Although I find the speed is a bit slow. I do find it keeps me from a clear mind of what I am doing. In MG/RTG, the game is ery fast and the prveious bet is still on the table and if I lose, I will just click "Deal".

Besides their customer service is ery good and more importantly, the cashin is EXTREMELY fast. I request the cashin 3 minutes ago and it's now in my Neteller account.
Highly recommended.
(That remind me of another cashin from 40+ requested more than 10 days ago. Better to chase them again!)

I started a thread about the Stanley Casinos a week or so ago and received ery favourable response. Since then I played at Star City casino and had a great experience. Customer service was quick and helpful, bonus was nice and I also made a little $$$. BEST OF ALL THE MONEY WAS IN MY NETELLER ACCOUNT WITHIN ONE HOUR!!! The retro software is a little tedious but I would rather put my money into a casino with slower software and a great rep than risk it with some of the other outfits.
Beware of RTG!!!

I'm not sure how to speed the game up, and: (i) it took me roughly nine months to download the proprietary software; (ii) when I did, it became apparent that it had massively f**d up the java stuff on my computer (a problem I've just now figured out how to remedy); and (iii) the software itself has a ery clunky, Soviet-era feel to it. All of this aside, though, I find the Crocksford and StarCity games (StarCity is a sister site) to be ery fair. The BJ feels random to me -- in my experience, it carries none of the bizarre streakiness that I've seen elsewhere. And the payout speed and customer service are exceptional -- I've never not gotten paid (to Neteller) in more than an hour or two, no questions asked. Only iNetBet compares on this front, but I like the fairness of the Crocksford BJ considerably more than iNetBet's, which seems a bit "fishy" to me.
As for the leisurely game speed, I sort of like it, though I can appreciate that it might be a bit annoying for those accustomed to th... | | Read Entire Entry |

Anyone has experience with Crocksords. I find the BJ game is ery slow and only play 120-150 hands per hour. With WR 20x, it will take me 10-20 hours to complete the WR.
Any recommendations on how to speed up the game (except betting big)? And how the play the WR?
