I said "almost single handedly". It was an exaggeration, but not too far out.

The same as I almost single handedly got Angelciti to di y up.

There were many hands involved in both endeavours.

I do believe he was speaking "with tongue in cheek." But I like to think I had just a little to do with it. Everyone needs their "15 minutes".

I applaud Newbie for his persistence. Whether or not he should get credit for this, I would personally like to appologize for anything I might have said to antagonize him, even though it was unintended. It just does not make sense to have this kind of power arrayed against me!

Seriously, this is a group of five casinos that would have seriously improved its chances of survival with a simple apology and the quick reversal of a poorly thought out policy to steal from players it did not want. The original mistake involved only small amounts of money--less than the cost of acquiring new customers. The fatal mistake was the inability or unwillingness to admit their own flawed judgement. After thousands of years of human history, the story is the same, "Pride goeth before the fall."

Their website hasn't been up in quite a while and was last updated in June/2002 but here's a look back. What could have gone so wrong?

The CyberCroupier Group is an owner and operator of online gaming casinos dedicated to providing the ultimate online gambling experience.

The company was founded and is managed by experienced business people applying classical 'old economy' irtues to one of the most profitable and fastest growing businesses on the internet.

Look what I found in my mailbox. Dated July 23 - sent directly from MiniVegas:

MiniVegas News

There are Casinos Closing down
As you may know; many casinos have been closing their doors lately, and there are still some others on the way to the same destiny. Competition in this industry got to a point where it is too hard for most to survive if they are not well established, well funded and overall if they do not have an unquestionable reputation.

However, the good news is that Minivegas is only getting stronger and stronger every day!!! Yes sir! While others are shutting down, we are celebrating another anniversary of ictory, success and overall, customer satisfaction!. Please check out the promotions we have for our new and existent players! Don't be sorry, do not feel insecure; just come and celebrate at MINIVEGAS!! We are here to stay for you!

At least they actually paid me what they owed when I played there unlike Men's Vegas, Mini-Vegas, Riverboat & Women's Vegas.
