Tropicana, are you insinuating that Playtech BJ switch is rigged? Or Casino Tropez BJ Switch exclusively is rigged? What are you trying to tell us with this quote? Not trying to be insulting, just honestly interested.
Either way, Tropez and Del Rio have done some ery Rogue things in recent history including some bait and switch with bonuses. I was approached by a good friend of mine that was swindled by a Del Rio bait and switch, who after wagering to get her bonus was told she couldn't have it even after asking prior to deposit if she was eligible. After that incident I have held little regard for this group of casinos which has been solidified by some other threads I have read here and at the Casinomeister.
Cheers

Why do people bring up really old threads to comment on things that have nothing to do with the original topic of the thread instead of starting a new one???? Seems semi pointless, no?

Casino Tropez is now under a different Antiguan license. Imperial e-club Limited. They used to have the same one that belonged to Swiss Casino and their 'terms of use' are ery similar.
This new license started in April this year so not sure how they were licensed in the interim after the old license expired in October last year.
Notice that the contact email addresses are the same for both licenses so I suspect they are ultimately the same group.

Hmmm.. well I remember now that I didn't think Tropez was part of the Swiss, Casino King and Casino Las Vegas group but since they used to be under the same license belonging to Swiss and their 'terms of use' are ery similar (see recent 'casino king is rude stole my money' thread) I assume Tropez is linked. Tropez doesn't mention the current license on their website but the others do.

Jeez, Caruso lighten up - it was a comment half made in jest, not an attempt to start another damn flame war.
And when I say "recover cash" I'm referring to ALL of the prejudice suffered by this player.

Let me add some comments with an opposite iew.
Casino Tropez: I’ve been offered a number of nice promotions at their site. Bonus has never been refused. Payments have always been quick.
Playtech rigged: Not sure, I know I've done well with Playtech sites (read at theoretical), so I'll continue to play.
OPA approval: yes it's a sham. What else is new in the online gaming world?
Telling a player they aren’t eligible for promotions any longer isn’t being dishonest. A losing session isn’t really relevant to an evaluation of a player’s worth to a casino.

I think the advice to "pay no heed" to experienced players is further off-base still, Jet.
"Recovering cash" is not the issue here; the poster is complaining about being refused a bonus; the casino DOES "reserve the right..." in their T & C; exactly what good do you think going on a campaign to acquire a 10% bonus will achieve, when the casino's rules state that it will be granted only at their discretion? He should simply withdraw his deposit.
FTR - I've had exactly the same "problem" with exactly the same casino. I don't consider it post-worthy. I simply wagered through my deposit, and withdrew. I had no intention of trying to flog a dead horse. Been there, done that, moved on.

Caruso's just grumpy again today, mollic so pay him no heed!
Better idealistic and making an honest attempt to recover your cash and warn others about a possibly dud casino than just "let it go" as Caruso suggests.

They've done you a favour; this is just another >>SNIP<< Playtech casino you now have a good reason to avoid - as if there weren't enough good reasons already (rigged VP, paying the OPA for cerification).
Jetset's advice, while technically / idealistically correct, will get you nowhere, so let it go.

You can basically claim this bonus once.
I've talked to people who have lost over 2k on the 2500/250/8250 they have and some that have won thousands.. They basically let you claim it once and stop you even though they say you can get it 8 times (2000 total cumulative bonuses)

I note that you have just registered here, so perhaps you are a relative newcomer to the world of Internet gambling?
If you are, please be advised that this bonus issue is a massive and ongoing bone of contention between players and casinos.
Casinos feel they can "exercise their discretion" under any and all circumstances with little regard for fairness as in your case. And they always seem to use the bonus abuser call AFTER the player has registered and deposited, casting grave doubts regarding honesty in this regard.
On the positive side, this wording is worth noting "This MAY be due to abusive bonus activity."
It is a hassle that you should not have, but I believe you should escalate your complaint to this Playtech-powered casino management in the hope that someone there is fair and reasonable. But don't trash the casino until you have done that - it will only make any subsequent negotiations more difficult.
