Talkshowhost. If your initials are KP here's some good news for you from Ronald Alden who is now senior management and no longer directly involved in customer relations:

I would also like to be paid Ronald. They still owe me $5000 Ronald promised (in november) to keep me updated on the progress of my cashout, I have an outstanding cashout from gamblerslobby since March 2003, they owe me $5000, 100% of which is my deposit, there is no excuse for BetNetClub not to pay me, they took over the casino, and basically $5000 of that casino's assets are MINE! BTW Ronald has NEVER emailed me an update on my situation

Ronald Alden called me tonight. He apologized for the wait and for the mess that Gamblers Lobby had caused, but said they would be depositing $2500 into my NeTeller account tonight, and the rest on Monday.
Less than a half hour later, the money was in my NeTeller account.

Ronald Alden has now responded to our questions, and the following outlines the current position. I would advise any old GL players with outstanding payouts who have not found their GL accounts migrated across to BetNetClub to get in touch with Ronald immediately.
For the others, it looks like a little patience whilst they sort out the mess left by Kent Spaulding and his crew, who appear to have lived down to their poor reputation in the unprofessional handover of this group to its new owners.
I wanted to include the full content of Alden's letter here, but this new message board only allows postings of 2000 characters it appears.
To summarise, therefore - Spaulding and crew left the place in a mess - records incomplete etc, and Ronald has been tasked with sorting it out and getting the outstanding debts paid. I have still not received a response from Ronald Alden, but to be fair it is the weekend and perhaps he works office hours.
BetNetClub is part of the Brit group Cyberbetting International. They're pretty big and strongly funded and I am informed that they have taken over other failed RTG casinos before.
I would email Alden (he's Customer Service Manager) and maybe even RTG if that doesn't produce a response.

I logged into my account, and there was nothing in the history some incorrect information from December of 2000. For example, it said I made a $4 withdrawal in late December, but that it was denied. I have never made a $4.00 withdrawal! And it also showed a $10 EZPay deposit, but I have never used EZPay.
I emailed the new casino yesterday and asked if they were in a position to tell me what was happening with the money I am owed, but as of yet, I have not received a response.

Jetset; When I logged in to my old Gambler Lobby account the software updated to the new software, but I could not login again. I have not received the e-mail either. I hope it means that they just haven't transfered me yet, but it looks bad at the moment
I wonder if this is a new company or if it's Gamblers Lobby trying to clean up their act. Seems Absolute Poker is still operating.

No response from BetNetClub yet to our questions, but it now appears that a number of players who have accessed their GL accounts at BetNetClub have found amounts owing properly transferred and available for cashout.
If this is true it will be an enormous relief to those players who have been strung along for months by Kent Spaulding.
I guess we'll have to wait for reports from owed players who have successfully cashed out before we know that this has been honourable handled by the new owners.
Bungy, Xianna et al will I am sure keep us advised...

BetNetClub (see the other thread here) is advising players that Gambler's Lobby has been taken over by them.
No mention in the email of looking after the owed players left by Kent Spaulding & Co.
We're trying to get more information on this from the casino.

That seems to be a ery sensible strategy, Kavaman. Although we have not seen any information from RTG or GL that suggests a change of owner or managers, until reports from paid players start surfacing I would say caution is appropriate here - these people were/are clearly in tough financial straits.
The management confusion at the casinos reported above does little to inspire confidence, either!

so i called them up, asking for Carl Werner. they asked me who that was. LOL ! I then asked if she knew who Liam Nash was.. yep... he's the manager.. I asked if KEn Spalding was still around, yep, he's an assistant to the manager.

I continue to email kent, support, fernando argas, marketing, and whoever else I can that has anything to do with gamblerslobby, I can't understand why I get no response at all, even from support. I made a complaint at the Internet Gaming Commission (internetcommission.com) They show the owner of gamblers lobby to be Shannon Marketing, no email link, I emailed support and asked them for the email address of their owners, Shannon Marketing, (no response of course) (dont even try shannonmarketing.com is just a link back to gamblerslobby) Does anybody know anything else about the ownership of gamblerslobby???????

I wouldn't give up on getting your money.
Although these folks have had tremendous financial problems in the past, they now have slightly more solid financial backing, and the management is eager to get the past debts payed RATHER than to risk negative publicity on the message boards. Does this mean they're honest? Absolutely not. But it does mean they are at least making an attempt to right past wrongs.

I'm afraid that this outfit and it's manager Kent Spaulding has a record for this sort of thing (see WOL archives) Having been involved in trying to assist players with problems there, I say this with first hand experience.
However, in the past after much delay and pressure they have eventually paid. Whether that will be the case in the present series of slow-pays remains to be seen.
Their historical excuse has always been that they are awaiting a fresh tranche of investor money, but the situation does not look good at present - some of these folks have been now been waiting for months and it looks as if there might be a critical shortage of cash over there.

I deposited using neteller, I have heard of this casino being extremely slow to pay winnners sometimes, or that they will make small payments or something, but this was a DEPOSIT, and they continue to ignore me completely, and I did pitch a bitch at casinomeister, I sent Kent an email telling him what a great deal of money this is to me, and how much I need it right now, I dont even think he exists

Gamblers Lobby still owes me $3600 in winnings. I had stopped posting about this because I was waiting for Julie at Gambling Grumbles, but I found out a couple of days ago that she's gone out of the mediating business.
