I have played a lot at Microgaming casinos. I am the player who got 2 $20k royal flushes in one day at Platinum Play. I wagered slightly over $1 million USD that month. I also play a lot of MG Blackjack. I think my opinion *counts*.
In the short term, MG single deck blackjack and ideo poker (both JorB & Deuces Wild) can be ery streaky. You can have many many bad hands or many many good hands. In the long term, I have found that it "averages out". My long term results seem to be close to what I have experienced in a land casino. In fact, it seems better than a land casino because I usually play multiple deck blacjack in a land casino (with worse odds than single deck). I will admit that I don't have much experience playing ideo poker in land casinos.

My results this year at Vegas Palms have been pretty good, ery good at sister casino Royal Vegas, and ery bad at another of this group Vegas Villa. At Platinum Play, Seven Sultans, and Fortune Room I was doing well until my last session at each.
Kinda like real life. I hate to lose, but it happens in gambling a lot no matter where you play.
As to the original post, if you mean that the casino has a 4.5% advantage in dollar terms in 7000 hands of flat betting, that is ery bad--providing you follow the proper stategy for the Microgaming software. If you use a nutty strategy like "never bust" your results are what should be expected. If you mean that dealer wins 4.5% more hands than the player with correct strategy, that is almost exactly correct. Reliable information on Microgaming software is in short supply, but opinions are ery plentiful.

Eh? I wasn't the one making any claims. I was hoping that as you are convinced MG blackjack & ideo poker is non random you'd have some data to prove it.
Judging by the above comment you don't. If you do however, please publish it as you'll be doing many, many players (including me!) a great favour.
Cheers.
(Sorry to de-rail your thread AutoG.....FWIW I don't see how one MG casino can be rigged and another not).

Here is my result. The numbers are approximate to hide my identity from the casino.
Hands played = 7000.
House advantage = 4.5%.
If you have recent data about the BJ at Vegas Palms, please post here.
Be careful, I'm convinced that Microgaming is cheating at least some players (and probably all players). I've had ery bad lifetime results at Microgaming casinos playing VP and blackjack only.
And a note to casinos using Microgaming software: Many players feel that Microgaming cheats. If your casino uses Microgaming software, I suggest you contact Microgaming and tell them to stop; Microgaming's ways can only hurt your business.
And portal owners, I suggest you stop pimping Microgaming and look closely at Microgaming's software. You give them the benefit of the doubt and it's just not good enough. Remember, real people are losing real m... | | Read Entire Entry |
