Hey, that happened to me too. I opened an account on March 18,2004 and couldn't log into my account since then. Still couldn't get the initial deposit back, not mention of my winning of $600.

I deposited $100, got $170 bonus. My balance ran up to around $500 by playing blackjack after reaching the WR. I continued to play (a lot of hands) and it ran down a little bit, so I decided to cash-in.

Hey, let that hammer fall...maybe it will be a wake up call to these people. YOU CANNOT CONTINUE TO MARGANLIZE PLAYERS. WE DEPOSIT CASH INTO YOUR CASINO'S, WE EXPECT A FAIR GAME, WE EXPECT TO BE PAID PROMPTLY IF AND WHEN WE WIN. These are not unfair demands. Treat players the way we DESERVE to be treated, or we will find someone who will, and in the process we will use every method at our disposal to make sure your company is marganlized in the process. DO NOT think, for one second these forums are nothing to worry about. The number of new members is increasing EVERY DAY, the number of players who you treat unfairly is OBSCENE, and we are finding more and more ways to strike back. Your ability to hide behind the anonimity of the internet is comming to a close. WE WILL BE HEARD. WE WILL BE LOUD. WE WILL FIGHT BACK.

Check out this BS spam.
"I’m Christine, and I am the hostess at Cirrus, the casino with the #1 rated, Customer Service department of all online casinos. ***CSRs lie, evade the issue, don't answer questions and hang up on you - read all the chats I copied*** We have developed into the largest casino, by going over and above what a player could possibly expect. ***True - I never expected a casino to attempt to oid my winnings on the basis of not having wagered an undisclosed amount at an undisclosed level according to an unwritten rule*** We have the best odds in the industry and the highest payouts in the business.
Here at Cirrus, we use the most reliable software, with the best odds, as reviewed by Ted Shakelford, The Wizard, at Wizard of Odds. ***I wonder what he thinks of scum RTGs invoking his name, incorrectly, for advertising?*** Our payouts average over 97% and we have paid back over $28,000,000.00 over the past years.

You're right, I just re-read the remark. I understood "Cirrus" for "mediators". Sorry about that. Wires crossed twice in two days, I'm on form.
I agree, the mediators certainly deserve applause.

Whether you say "they deserve applause" or you applaud them physically - hard to do on the internet - your approbation remains the same. I'm reminded of an old friend here at WOL who used to accuse me of arious gross mis-representations of his words when I paraphrased rather than quoting directly. In this case, I even DID quote directly.
I don't want this to degenerate into a nit-pick fest, so if you want to be on on record as saying Cirrus are both un-applauded and undeserving of applause on the part of your good self, fine by me. I agree on both counts.

If you are going to quote, do it in context:
Quote:
I didn't hear any applause, except perhaps implied for people who take it upon themselves to mediate. But even that is stretching my remark, although I do think they deserve applause.
Where in that am I applauding Cirrus? Stop trying to put things into my mouth that I did not and would never say.

I think it's fair to say that when players see affiliates saying that ripoff joints "deserve applause" because an affiliate manager comes out and does some wallpapering, they get narked.
Bear in mind one thing here: when I played at Cirrus, there was no mention of this rule anywhere. Yet I was held to it, and without Cindy's assistance would have seen not one more cent as a result. They then "officialised" the rule in print - but then removed it a few weeks later. Back to square one. Do you think they'll now stop trying it on with their customers as they did with me and others? Why? What's different?

I would just like to see someone quote me applauding Cirrus.
I actually applauded no one, but if I were to applaud someone, it would be people who take it upon themselves to mediate.
But then I already said that in my last post.

Ignore her, Shanky, she's just trying to cause trouble.
Check out the latest BS promo I got:-
"All bonuses are fully cashable, unlimited cashout..."
"WANT Fully cashable BONUSES?..."
Fully cashable - up to a maximum of $500. They don't mention that.
Stay away from this RTG flea pit, people.

actually Dominique, the important thing here is that proof of attempted theft was documented by an informed gambler and presented in an interesting thread which has exposed the ethics of this outfit. The player was paid, but the hoops he had to go through resembles classic rogue behavior. There should not have been any negotiations period. I suppose Cirrus should be applauded for their efforts? I think not.

I can't much much sense of any of that. For one thing, I didn't contact Bryan on this matter, I contacted Cindy. It might have been a courtesy to at least consult with her first. She had copies of all correspondence. Oh, well. Go figure.
Bryan, Cindy, what does it matter?
Many times negotiations are done by more than one party, or started by one party and picked up by a second, or third. I have worked in that fashion many times.
The important thing is that the player gets paid and that the casino makes some changes so the same thing doesn't happen again.

"This in no way excuses the casino from any wrong doing, as they fully admit that they "screwed" up. This was the result of an overzealous CSR, who had a bonus structure (which has now been removed from all CSR's). Hi Everyone,
We have met with Cirrus Casino, and after talking to the casinomeister we both agree that honesty is the best policy. First of all the individual has been paid all funds owed to him. This in no way excuses the casino from any wrong doing, as they fully admit that they "screwed" up. This was the result of an overzealous CSR, who had a bonus structure (which has now been removed from all CSR's). As for the ridiculous rule of keeping an "active" account this has been removed and never to be implemented again. I would like to thank everyone for thier patience in this matter and apologize to the player and all players for this. We are trying to improve everything with this casino, the new marketing management is the first step towards this, and we will work igilantly on any and all issues brought to our attention.
Sincerely
John Hartley

If you must play here, I repeat: make sure you first contact an affiliate and get their agreement to help you when things get nasty. If you think all that effort is worthwhile for some reason - maybe this $25 freebie (LOL) or some other juicy promo they've spammed you with - go right ahead and get the necessary safety nets in place, but NEVER, never, never play at these gutter-joints without carefully chosen backup. And I mean "carefully chosen"; an Email to whichever rogue sent you the spam in the first place resulting in a reply along the lines of "yeah, OK dude, whatever" does NOT constitute "carefully chosen backup".

Christine recently sent me an email with a couple hundred email addresses of other Cirrus customers in the cc-line.
If this will not be straightened out rather soon each and every one of these players will know what is going on with this Casino!
