Well as of today they have offered to pay $1500, which still leaves $2500 that they are stealing. I am not at all pleased with this, I advised them that I will accept the $1500 but I am not giving up on the rest.

I think that they are at this point. I have a been in contact with a manager and I am still waiting to hear back from him and it seems that he is never there when I call. Maybe it is just bad timeing, but I am beginning to think otherwise.

What you stated is ery true although on the flyer they stated that the money can be used where you choose and the only notation was reguarding 20% bonus (there were no other). The flyer did not state anywhere on it that the money could not be used in the poker room and like I said above it said you choose where you play. Another problem is that their system allows you to you the money in the poker room and frankly their system should not allow the money to be used in their poker room if it is not alid there. The first time I incurred this problem with the free $50 was when I won $1100 and tried to cash out. After working with betonusa.com they agreed that they would take back the $50 and give me the rest to either play with or cash out in payements over 4 weeks. I was advised that any money I won if I decided to play would be mine and I would have no problem cashing out. A deposit was made into my account with the first of the 4 payments and feeling that this was a gesture of good faith I decided to con...

Ok, I checked on this and was advised to look here:

http://www.betonusa.com/disclaimer.htm

And I found this:

Quote:

29. For clients who are eligible for free $50 promotion you must wager minimum 10 (ten) times of the bonus, minimum cashout is $1000. max cash out $1500. anything above will be forfeited, no parlays or teasers are allowed. The free $50 CANNOT be used in the Poker Room. This bonus can not be combined with customer’s deposits. No deposits can be made to the customers account as long as the free $50 or any winnings made off the free $50 remain in the account. If customers wish to make a deposit they must either open a second account or wait until all free $50 funds and winnings are cleared from the existing account. Customers who have not made a deposit and have already received the free $50 promotion (or similar bonus) are not entitled to this bonus. Bonus excludes Roulette, Craps or SicBo. No wagering on parlays/teasers.

Their poker room is represented at all the tournies and their people are travelling to international poker tournies all the time.

It is a prima poker. I am a bit confused as to how they are supposed to do something like that on a Prima Poker property. I need some education here.

I do have contacts at betonusa and will bring this up on monday.

slowrolla,

When you have a chance, give us an update on how BetonUsa is handling this, as you say they are working with you and know they have a problem here on their hands.

Betonusapoker is part of the microgaming family of poker rooms (primapoker), I think someone could contact microgaming about this. If they get into solving this problem, betonusa will pay the players that money is being owed. Afterall the money discussed on this thread is poker room winnings (even though its from free cash).

So does anyone have any contacts with microgaming? Jetset? Anyone?

I contacted SBR and bill has helped but I am still working with betonusa.com. I am awaiting a call from a manager this afternoon and if I dont get anything I plan to contact world gaming.

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for the Antigua gaming commission to get involved and clear this up, as they have proven themselves to be irtually useless in the past.
Did you email Sportsbookreveiw.com admin?
Maybe email World Gaming directly and explain you are haing a problem with a licensee/sub-licensee.

I forgot to mention that I also was contacted by another person that had to same thing happen to him. Altough he is looking at losing $18,000 to betonusa.com. After winning the money he was also locked out and then he was offer a solution similar to mine (return the money to his acct in 4 weeks time).

I am starting the think that this is some type of marking ploy that is allowing betonusa.com to make themselves money. It seems as if they are targeting people who play online poker and temping them to sit down a make some money only to steal it from the them and all the other poker players involved in game. Becuase they are not altering winnings for people that placed below us so essentially they are stealing from a bunch of people.

This is where is gets really confusing....

According to betonusa.com they are licensed in Antigua and their parent company is IEE Ltd. (Internet Empire Entertainment), checking with the antigua gaming board Iee's license expired in 02 I believe. Looking more and more the only company that they could be licensed with in Antigua is World Gaming. On world gamings web site they are referred to as partners. World Gamings does have a license in Antigua the is alid. When you speak to customer service reps and the managers at betonusa.com the only thing they can tell you is they are licensed in Antigua and they dont know any other information i.e. who their parent company is or what company name their license is with.

So I am not sure where they are really licensed, although I have contacted the Antigua gaming Docterine and I am awaiting a response.

Correction - I've just been scrabbling through my database and it appears that BetonUSA's parent company is in Malta:

WFFP Ltd. Suite 263, 95 Ganu Street, B'Kara, Malta.

That could be encouraging, because the Malta gambling authorities have recently set themselves up as a reliable and genuine licensing jurisdiction for online gambling, so they may be prepared to take up the cudgels against a local company if there are real and substantiated complaints.

It would appear so, judging by the AIM listing. They have always been upfront with the fact that they are USA-focused in terms of marketing strategy.

Their latest company results are not too hot, either.

They're listed on the London AIM.

slowrolla,

Email the contact person at sportsbookreview.com - I know they have helped out at least one other person in getting paid by this place after he was getting the run-around.
And yes, they are bad news - everyone stay far away.

Many bettors and players have had problems with this casino over the years. From the reports I read, I can only conclude that they don't like to pay their winners. Go to any sportsbook forum such as the Prescription or Major Wager and you will find many bad reports about this place.

I would keep after them though, there is a possibility they will pay you.

They also claim to be listed on a UK based stock exchange (I don’t the symbol or the exact exchange). You may want to try complaining to that entity. It probably won’t help, but at least you get to put their behavior on record. There may also be a message board for their stock. You can also post your problem there.

Good luck. I hope you get your money.

I received a $50 free ocher as well, on the letter it stated that you choose where to play no where did it state that you cannot use the money in the poker room. I went into the poker room and played a little bit and actually won a multi-table tourney. The money was $1100. Doing like I do at any other site I was going to withdraw a portion of the money...well this is were the problem started. After a day of interacting with rude customer service tell me its my fault i used the money in the poker room and it was not allowed in their I finally came in contact with a manager. He did tell me the money could not be used in the poker room and after faxing the oucher that I received to him he did admit the it did not state that the money could not be used in the poker room. So we came to a solution he would take back the $50 and I would keep the rest, although he would redeposit my winnings over a 4 week period to try and keep me playing there and the money was mine to do what I pleased with...I could play or ...
