Yeah, it looks like this situation has been resolved. Aside from what's been posted here, I've personally heard from a couple of other people that were having problems but everything was worked out for them and they seem happy to stay on with Omni now that this is out of the way.

The Casinomeister has declared this issue resolved. He is told that players have been (or will be?) paid. If you have not been paid, you should post at his site.

I got the bonus in October without problems, but I had to complain to get the bonus in November. Omni's explanation was that my account was "blocked" because I did not deposit in October (not true), but they gave me the bonus I deposited in November. Depositing is one of the factors they consider when deciding whether to consider you a "genuine player", even though it is not required by the T&C.

You never needed to deposit with the new terms. I received the bonus the day after playing the required amount, the first month they changed the rules, and I didn't deposit anything. It was only in the second month people started having problems, probably unrelated to whether they deposited or not, although I didn't play from that month on so I don't know if I would have received the bonus.

I was told that IF I deposited I would most likely not be allowed a bonus after meeting the wagering requirements. I have been hesitate about wagering in any case due to other changes management has made. I also have been affected by this thread.

In any case I had left monies in the account and played "Break the Bank" ....HAS ANYBODY EVER WON THIS GAME? I am lucky to see 2 of my numbers come up. For the last 2 months I have had a small balance.

NOW OMNI SUBTRACTED $2 A MONTH FOR "DORMANCY" LEAVING ME WITH LESS THAN $10 SO COULD NOT PLAY THE GAME. Also less than the $20 Neteller minimum withdrawal. Well, I will be able to withdraw what I have left but OMNI sure seems to be have changed colors.

I think everyone with any type of contact has tried by now.

I am ery disappointed - I have been a stout supporter of Omni for years, including at the beginning of these incidents.

I can even understand their need to tighten the belt and become more restrictive with bonuses, afterall bonuses are not just given to people who drop considerable amounts of money like in Vegas, but to everyone. They do affect the bottom line and need to be adjusted to justify the expense, which will ary as time goes. The industry has not had a ery good year since the US clampdown on casino advertising. This causes a lot of repeat players claiming this bonus , but it attracts less new players since the message that the bonus is available is not delivered as effectively anymore.

I will not be surprised to see more casinos tightening the restrictions or redesigning bonuses.

The problem with Omni is that you don't change the rules in the middle of the game. That is considered breach of ...

Yes - Cryptologic and Omni, but there seems to be a strange inertia to address this as a holistic problem that requires a management policy shift. I don't see any signs yet of a change in thinking, although this continuing flow of complaints must be embarrassing and is surely costly in terms of reputation and business.

Well....

After my previous post in this thread regarding having met the wagering requirement at Omni in November and having not received the bonus, I received a private message and then exchanged emails with Mark from Focalclick and he contacted Omni management on my behalf to see if they could find a resolution to the problem.

I just heard back from him this morning, and this was the "solution" offered by Omni.

They have credited the $100 to my account which I can bet with now. However, IN ORDER TO CASH THE BONUS I MUST DEPOSIT IN DECEMBER AND WAGER THE NEW STANDARD $4,000 WAGERING REQUIREMENT.

Now I don't know if that means that I would get a new bonus for December as well and be able to cash in both bonuses, but it certainly dosen't say that. And I really have no clue what wagering a new $4,000 has to do with the fact that I already wagered over $2500 in November, meeting their wagering requirement, and lost $350 of my own money in the process.

"I beg to differ."

That is your prerogative... but do you not see a similarity in (a) the bad decision (b) the hammering the reputation is taking and (c) the ill-advised delay in accepting that a serious, player provocative misjudgement has occurred and steps taken to rectify it?

I beg to differ. Not only did Omni refuse to honor their own terms on November, they also add new terms to justify what they did.
I did have a great experience with peak entertainment in the past but after this, why on earth would I waste my time and money with them?
I'd suggest everyone to stay away from them until they clear up everything.

Meanwhile their hard-won good reputation is taking a beating from all sides.

It's another of those inexplicably silly mismanagement issues which needs fixing and fast. Gaming Club did it. So can Omni, but they need to get into gear here.

For the record, Omni Casino has always treated me ery well. I can remember only small problems that they always remedied quickly and included a small apology bonus in comp points every time. I have even won a fair amount of money above the total bonus money given me in almost five years of playing there. The same was true at their sister casino, Sands of the Caribbean, until I lost there the last two months.

I really don't understand how a high class operation would stoop to this. It's time to come forward with the mea culpas. Even really dumb mistakes can be fixed if you have the will to do the right thing.

Exactly.
And I did see somewhere that Omni won a "Casino of the Year" type award, Top Payouts award.

I find this unacceptable. Omni has certainly been around long enough to know which of the regular customers they want to keep and which they do not. Those no longer eligble for the monthly bonus should be informed before they deposit and play. The monthly bonus structure now resembles a random draw where some get a bonus and others do not. Until the rules are more clear than what they have now I will be reluctant to play at Omni for a sixth year.

Why would anyone play with a casino where they have to beg for a bonus?

I was first refused the monthly bonus in November. Live chat told me that there is a "temporary block" on my account. I e-mailed promotions and they credited my account within a day, but their explanation was less than convincing. They claimed that the block was put on my account in October, because I did not deposit any money, but that they reclassified me as a "genuine" player when I deposited in November. There are just three problems with this: I did deposit in October, there is nothing in the rules that says you cannot play with money already in your account, and I should not have to e-mail them for the bonus.

So sad to see recent policies happen. They might have been taken over by new management that sees things differently than the previou owners or the same management decided to change policies. It still is sad to see what is happening.

Personally, I dont care about bonuses as much as an honest game. Unfortunately, all the software (IMHO), have the ability to change the odds according to the wager pattern and the online casinos take advantage of this "feature" to arious extents.

Because the maximum wager allowed has not changed (for no dl ersion) and the minimun wager required has increased, it has reduced my ability to have a potential win (even if an honest game with increased odds for increased wagers is instituted).

OMNI, IF YOU ARE READING THIS THREAD.

Either stop offering bonuss completely or honor them if the terms are completed. If Omni offers an honest game people will wager with much fewer complaints than this thread is creating.ether way

The change of bonus policy already gave the casino a better advantage because players can no longer bet big using the bonus. I don't understand why the casino blocks players (especially those losing more than the bonus amount) like this.

Add me to the list.

I wagered over the $2500 (not sure how much I wagered, but I know it was over that amount) - losing about $350, and did not see any sign of the bonus after a couple weeks. Wrote Omni about it and got the following email:

"Renee, the bonus was not credited due to a temporary block on your account. Please contact our promotions team at toll free 888 477 2239 between 9am and 4pm EST, Monday through to Friday for the details on your account and to assist in having this matter resolved."

After reading this thread and hearing that people get no help from support (and I haven't had ery good luck w/ phone support at Crypto casinos either), I'm not going to bother. I withdrew my remaining balance of about $50 - not sure I'll be playing there again...
