Dominque mentioned Sharebuilder.com - it's a great place to start if you are just getting interested in investing for real. You can start ery small, there are no minimums, small transaction fees and plenty of good information.
As to the other advice re" investing games, do a lot of practice, and go ery slowly. Yes, everyone around you will be talking about how easy it is and how much money they are making - ignore it. You'll end up losing if you jump in and start throwing money at it.

If you are going to play that kind of thing, please practise first.
Last time I looked, there were a bunch of fantasy investing games available.
Some of these were totally free to play, some you paid a nominal small fee to use all the facilities. Look around, there are some around that really are well put together.
It's been over a year however since I looked at them - I tried to get one of them to display on my site but they didn't want to be associated with gambling.
Lol - like the stock market isn't as close to gambling as you can get.

Don't get carried away investing thousands until you feel you know the field like a pro.

Hi,
this year I decided to search the web for something how to make some money. Found lot of forums and sites, mosly nothing interesting. Im not lucky in casinos - never win a lot, mostly lost all
So i was searching for something more secuire and found investing games. Its needed to pay money and then every day i receive interest (some paying 5% per day), im playing with few of these games (with few hundred $, just to test). In investing related sites all ppl so optimistic about it and saying how much they are making, but its just few hundred ppl, I wanted to know if someone else tryed that kind of games and is it good idea to play with thousands $? I really want to double that money but will be ery upset if ill lose. Any ideas?
Thanks
