Final update: BlackWidowCasino paid me today 3/10/05.
Despite the fact that the experience is a pain and much unecessary wasted time, the result shows some comfort and hope for us cyber players:
1. Despite the fact that Playtech never replied my 7 emails, they possibly could have contacted BlackWidowCasino to resolve my case;
2. Despite the fact that BlackWidowCasino was wrong in unnecessarily deleying processing my withdrawal, ultimately there was a sense of right and wrong in their mind that persuaded them to do what is right and what is good for their business in the long run;
3. For us cyber players, cyber gaming is not all hopeless and helpless, precisely because of websites like WinnerOnline.com that let players show our experiences, good and bad, so that players may be on the lookout for pitfalls and operators can be striving for good reputations rather than bad ones that drive players away from their sites.
Thanks to all!

Update: 3/3/05
Today I contacted Playtech for help as follows. Will keep you informed.
To: admin@playtech.com
Dear Sir,
Your operator BlackWidowCasino.com holds my money of $51 without processing my
withdrawal or giving any reasons for 5 weeks. My many emails to their Mr.
Windsor (admin@centraldeposit.com) were never answered. Do you allow for such practice?
Playtech is a giant and reputable name in cyber gaming. It would be nice when you help your software end users and do not allow your operators to have unethical practices that taint your name and reputation.
Please help me by asking BlackWidowCasino.com to present their reason for not processing my withdrawal request of $51 and never replying my emails.
Thank you ery much for your advice and help.
Sincerely,
sming

Thanks for all the advice and comments.
I hope some new players have benefited from my experience.
I also wish Playtech could be as advanced as their software when it comes to ensuring fair treatment for the players of their software, not just the operators of their software.
I tried to seek help from Playtech by looking through their website but there was not even a contact means for cases like mine.
Does anyone know how to get in touch with the owner or CEO of Playtech?
Thanks for advising.

Unfortunately, so many new players to the industry don't know where to go to find out about the good and bad operators, and that allows some of the scam operators, like this Blackwidow, to reel in unsustpecting players before they know any better.
Step 1 should always be at least typing the name into Google and then surfing around a little. The odds are good you'll stumble upon a place like WinnerOnline where you can further your search.
I hope you see your money at some point, although it appears highly doubtful.
Good luck with it though.

Sorry to hear about your problem.
I am rather new to casino online gambling. So, before depositing with any of them I found it helpful to look for blacklisted casinos to avoid. BlackWidow displays prominently on many of them as "avoid at all costs."
Hopefully, others will learn from you and avoid blacklisted casinos.
Good Luck

what the hell?
are you serious! 4 years for a payment?
they should make the Guiness Record for slowest payment in the history (if they indeed payup in the end that is )
Here is what I did in the past in getting Blackwidow to pay. Keep calling their number and nag and nag and nag. Sooner or later somebody will escalate the complaint to the right person.
And I thought BW and GB always paid in the end.

How this group (Black Widow, Grand Banks, Sterlinghouse) stay in business astonishes me every time their delayed payment tactics come to the attention of the player. It happens again, and again, and .....
They have had a shocker of a reputation for slowpay since God was a boy and there was that memorable conversation with a webmatser where their top man proudly admitted that they had a policy of late-paying players who took the bonuses they offer.
With so many more stress-free operations (at least in terms of prompt payment) competing with them it is a wonder that they are still apparently hale and hearty and open for business.

Hi, Fellow cyber players,
I share my experience so that we help protect each other and seek help from you. Thank you in advance.
I joined BlackWidowCasino on 7/21/01 and deposited $50 for their signup bonus of $50. At that time they required that the wagering requirement be 3x the deposit. I wagered more than required and cashed in $86.50. They did not send me the money, instead they withdrew the bonus from my account, left 36.50 in my account, and said they could not send the $36.50 to me because the withdrawal must be $50 or more. Recently I played some and brought the balance to $51.50. On 1/23/05 I requested a withdrawal of $51. Despite their rule that withdrawals are processed in 10 business days, my withdrawal still has not been processed as of today (2/27/05). I have called their customer service who said they had no power to help me. All they could do was to email their Finance Department and Casino manager and forward my request. Their Joyce, Dave, Mark have emailed Mr. Wi... | | Read Entire Entry |
