Congratulations on the win. The time payments suck though. You'd think Golden Palace would have enough money that a player wouldn't have to wait almost *three months* to be paid out.
Makes it a lot more likely that you'll just gamble it all back to them instead of buying a new car!

Congratulations. I also hit a royal in diamonds playing let it ride two weeks ago in Vegas. At least I didn't have to wait so long for my winnings, and being British I didn't have to pay tax either.

golden palace is a joke to me. You will get paid. but if a casino can give 20k for a old sandwich on ebay or pay for a fake ghost. They should be able to give u all your money at one time

welcome to the board. I've personally never played with them, but I wouldn't be concerned with getting paid out. For the last few years this casino has never had any no-pay issues (that I've heard of). If everything is on the up and up on your end, you'll see your money.
Congrats on the big win.

You'd better be careful about signing up and using the bonuses at a number of these casinos. You are likely to come up as a "bonus abuser", and will be considered to have numerous accounts, since all of these casinos use one database.
Best to play at only one or two, if you want to continue playing with them!

What are the other GP sister casinos? I know gocasino is one. But I'm not familiar with the other ones. Geisha and Grand Aces are not are they?

Vickinz, I recommend downloading the software again from scratch. The problem didn't just happen at GP. It occurred at ALL AquaOnline casinos, and was due to a corrupt file (in a prior update several months back) that caused the system to think there were communications problems in the cashier module, but not in the rest of the casino.
My friend and I emailed Aquaonline, and everything was corrected, and I've been using thier casinos successfully for a while with no more problems.
I just wanted to point out that I recently hit a major winning streak at these casinos, unlike anything I've ever experienced since my Bossmedia $10,000 win a few years back.
It seems every big hand I've bet I won, in blackjack. What strange luck, as I had always been under the assumption that this "back office" of this software was actually Microgaming. (either with thier permission, or the software was stolen from Microgaming)

I've had no problems being paid winnings within 3-8 days for over a year now. However, I have real hassles cashing out for several months now and I'm sure they are intervening to stop me from cashing out when I want to! It NEVER happened before it began.
So I didn't play there for 3 months because of this, but the same happened just a coupla weeks ago. I think they have me "tagged" as a player who will reverse and often lose all (silly me) because on returning the cards are terrible - ALWAYS, and I am a dummy for never learning!
The ATM comes up no trouble, but a box then pops up saying "connection lost" when my isp is running smoothly and I am still able to play, whereupon I lose hand after hand! This intervention occurs many many times over hours.
I wont return there because of that.

Well I guess the gaming community is still split on this one. The reason I have asked is because I have won a big amount of cash at this casino from my $100 deposit a month ago, and I am hoping that it will pay out. I actually never received such a great customer service from any other casino. They have in fact called me offering me their 200% bonus a second time. I've never been called by a casino before, in fact I'm the one that usually calls them because of problems n' such. Anyway, after I decided to cashout, I decided to read more about the casino, and that's how I found out about its past. But it seems to me that after they have changed softwares, they have made a complete 180. Not only did I get a reply 24 hrs later about my cashout, they have processed it in 3 days, rather than the usual 5 to 7 days. I've requested wire transfer as some players here had advised. It's not in my bank account yet, but when I get all 3 wire transfers I will let folks know if indeed they followed through. But overall... | | Read Entire Entry |

i myself played at GP a while ago (~6 months) before i knew of their past. From the way they ran their operation, I had no idea that in the past they were rogue. I always got paid quickly and in full, and I always felt their games were some of the fairest around. What else can i say except look at what happened in the past and see if it bothers you to play @ their casinos.. if not, I doubt you'll have any problems..

Back in April 2000, Golden Palace and its affiliate sites stole bonuses and winnings from legitmate players who followed every rule and regulation listed on GP's websites. GP called these players "bonus abusers", even though these players did nothing wrong, except to take advantage of too many promotions on a regular basis. Some were cheated out of thousands.
After the scandal, GP switched from Microgaming to AquaOnline, and it seems a major internal policy change took place. From July 2000 until now, GP and its affiliates have run extremely reputable operations.
Even Aspinalls of the UK is now using GP to manage its online casino.
I have a friend that won $16,000 a few months back at GP, and he was paid in full.
Customer service is also quite good, since GP has toll free support as well as online chat support. CSR's appear to be ery well trained compared to some other operations.
They is a rare case of a rogue casino that has changed into reputable... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hello y'all. I've read past threads about GP, but I don't seem to see any new ones since 2000. During 2000 GP used microgaming software and now they use the same software as geisha lounge and other casinos. But those past threads had some serious complaints against GP, I'm not sure if it's the same GP or a different one. Anyhoo,
Does anyone have any info on the Golden Palace Casino of today? Has anyone had any problems with them? I recently joined GP and Go casino when I took advantage of their 200% bonus offer, and both seem to be pretty darn good casinos to me...compared to my previous experience with another casino. GP customer service is just superb.
I am interested in learning about past and present experiences of other players with this casino (with the exception of the two troubleteers). Thank you kindly.
