That George Finley who signed off that email while working for Jenson at Main Street Vegas was also the one behind fortyplus casino (he was the CEO- his real name was Jorge Eduardo Barahona Ramírez). He claimed that the real boss was an investor who decided to close it down (maybe Jenson). He was earlier answering emails for another casino, gamblerslobby.com (RTG), which also went under.

I still haven't found out much but is majorwager correct about the connection between marty jenson and nick nolter? I haven't seen it said anywhere else.

I remember kind of keeping an eye on this as it was happening as well. I believe Jensen finally said he would pay all those owed, and that they needed to get in touch with him, or the Shrink ia the Rx.
Then it became a matter of how one alerts these "stiffed" players to the fact they can now make a claim on their money, as for whatever reason, I can't remember why, but Jensen wasn't able to simply send emails (and I assume many wouldn't have worked any longer anyway).
I guess there are still many players who never knew about this and are still owed.

These sure are interesting developments and all hell seems to be breaking loose over there at the Rx forum. It certainly cements the connection between Marty Jensen-TheRx - Main Street Vegas.
This is also appearing all over the place now and is a hopeful sign that perhaps the former owner of the Rx who is still involved ( The Shrink) is about to put the screws on Jensen to account for his past sins at Main Street Vegas:

Thanks for notifying everyone of this, eek. It is useful information that will hopefully do some good and the efforts being made over there are truly commendable in trying to get the players paid. We will certainly give this initiative some publicity in our bulletins.
I think it is fair to say that the conventional wisdom is that the Rx Marty Jensen and the Main Street Vegas Marty Jensen are one and the same person but is there anything conclusive that shows this to be the case? I have been under that impression all along, but when recently asked on what I based my opinion I could really only point to the archives here and elsewhere.
The blurb on Jensen when he took over the Rx said that he had extensive experience in the online gambling world, but was not specific. When I asked the former owner Ken Weitzner for specifics my approach was ignored, leaving me still with nothing concrete. There is currently an ongoing effort to try and retrieve deposits/winnings for players that were caught up in the Main Street Vegas debacle a while back.

Marty Jensen has recently acquired the RX and there ARE other agendas and motivations hovering in the background of what are predominantly sportsbetting sites, but which don't concern the ecasino side of things.
However, the issue of non-payment does remain outstanding.
It will also create a focus thread for those that were stiffed.
If MJ pays up, it will be to his credit.
If he does not it will be used as a stick to beat him with for a long time to come.
