Personally I'm unsurprised by the actions of this group. My experience is they've always hated paying winners, even playing without a bonus, and that their integrity went missing a long time ago.
In May 2001 I posted this at Winneronline:
"About five or six weeks ago I had cause to make OPA complaints about both Captain Cooks and Illustrated casinos following intolerably long periods for cashins.
Before the complaints, I received emails from both casinos at least once or twice a week with news and sometimes promos. Now nothing.
I'm just wondering if they've stopped sending me emails because I exercised my right to complain (after contacting their customer services on a number of occasions, thereby giving them the option to resolve the matters before I took them further).
If they have struck me off their email lists following my complaints, fine. That's their prerogative. But if that is the case, I think that speaks olumes about them."

Got this from Integrity this morning:
"We are currently 30% of the way through this investigation and we anticipate this should be completed by the 15th April. Please note that all genuine players will be paid."
What the hell is a "genuine player," and does this mean all un-genuine players WON'T be paid?
Captain Cook's is also offering a fat bonus for the next 48 hours--but do they expect anyone to send them $$$ when the above crap is being sent?
I'd stay far away from these guys...

Hi Jetset,
It will be an interesting debate but for now,...
I am interested in how Casino Rewards is going to convince you and the Meister that they had nothing to do with this process given their predilection for such things.
If this transfer is this close, then preparations have been going on for a long time and I see no possibility that an assualt on the customer base could happen without the involvement of the future buyers.
Tomorrow, the weekend is over and I am sure you and Meister will be rolling up your sleeves. As you delve in, throw us whatever tidbits you can. I much aprreciate your sharing your disappointment regarding finding out about the sale so late in the game.

QUOTE I disagree with you on your right of admission policy. I think that is a discussion that ought to take place in a non confrontational manner - at another time after this show has closed.
bart UNQUOTE
That could be an interesting debate, as I don't see how you can deny the owner of a casino his or her right to decide with whom he or she wishes to transact business.
Another time, then!

Being an optimist by nature I hope that signals that this suicidal bonusing policy of the former management will be reversed and prejudiced players sorted out financially, although I respect the casinos' right to continue to reserve their right of admission.
Good info Jetset. Like you said Casino Rewards has had its own moments as they have championed retroactive bonus terms in the past. This means that players should stay away - there are better places to p... | | Read Entire Entry |

This has pissed off a few of us who have been working on the old management at Integrity Casinos to reverse this dumb bonus disqualification nonsense. They did not disclose to us the fact that change of ownership talks were ongoing, and that was a breach of good faith imo with a bunch of upfront folks trying to steer them right.
It won't be forgotten.

In a covering email that came with my copy of the press release Jamie said:
"I know you have had some concerns with the non payment of some Captain Cooks players lately due to (wager) turnover requirements. I give you my guarantee that this is a high priority for us and will be resolved next week as we take over the operations."... | | Read Entire Entry |

I've played at CCC for quite awhile,so this issue is really disturbing to me,as it has to be for many other people. If I'm not mistaken,Casino Classic is also included in the group, and their start-up terms were completly absurd. If you can't trust CCC,who has been a top notch site for a long time, every site has to be an issue sooner or later.Competion is good,over-exposure is deadly.I'm sure that M.G. will step in and mediate and correct any real issues, but this is not a good indication of things to come if CCC has problems.Again I repeat something I've said all along-When the U.S.A. regulates internet gambling, all these issues will be gone. Will I live long enough to see that day--I doubt it.

Thanks for your efforts Jetset. I was curious if MicroGaming is being contacted behind the scenes. If that information is sensitive for whatever reason, forget I asked.

If there are players here stiffed by this policy, or even affiliates that have not been paid on time please post a PAB at Casinomeister (Max, hope you don't mind me using your board to bring this about, but it is a genuine exercise to assist stiffed players)

I agree. I found the statement poor. It seemed to be an attempt to get players to continue to play without making any *real* committment.
A simple,
"ICL will not:
1. Hold up cashins purely to audit advantage players.
2. Retroactively deny bonuses after the terms have been completed unless the player is found to be fraudulently employing multiple accounts.
ICL will:
1. Always pay bonuses to all players no matter how sharp they are as long as wager as required by the T/Cs.
2. Timely pay our affiliates."
Takes a lot less space. Wonder why they can't... | | Read Entire Entry |

If a casino offers bonus, and a player follows the rules posted on the casinos website he should be paid, no matter howw he or she plays. As long as he has met the wagering conditions. and not open dupe accounts.
If they not paying webmasters too, then for sure there having problems.
If there no dupe accounts, they need to pay the players and if they dont like there action close there accounts after they get all there money. I also read they change terms in mid stream.
If a casino offor bonus bonus hunter will try and come, man look at the play thru
Another group the union will not approved.

Given the enormous amount of speculative and hostile comment that this ICL issue has generated here and on other sites where players are oicing their fears and concerns, I am astonished, and not a little disturbed that ICL has not attempted to come in and clarify their actions.
Treatment of bonusing T&Cs is pivotal in this entire dispute i.m.o. ICL is not part of eCOGRA, which has a specific eGAP on this sort of dispute, but in essence the generally accepted framework for this is:
If a player is offered a bonus, accepts the offer and wagers in compliance with the T&Cs pertaining at the time of that wager, and provided he/she is not a fraudulent (ie multiple accounts, false ID etc) player, he/she is entitled to full payment of all monies promised due under the T&C.
This is regardless of whether the casino has decided he/she is an *advantage player* If the casino then decides, that the company does not want that player on the books, then it has every right to exe... | | Read Entire Entry |
