Following my previous post in this thread, I have finally good news:
I did receive recently my first-time withdraw from Acropolis and everything was done without any problem!
Highly recommended!
I find important and I repeat that, its ery rare to find a casino where bets on roulette are allowed for WR (and other games-of course without abusing eg. bet on black and red at the same time). Personally its the only one I have found!
Yet most important for me is that their support team gave me almost every time detailed answers whenever I asked and believe me this seems to be difficult in other playtech casinos.

Stanley has always been an extremely reputable group.
Unfortunately, the wool has been pulled over thier eyes by Playtech.
I am extremely suspicious that this software cheats.
ALL OF US WANT TO SEE THE LOGS.
Contact tech@playtech.com or contact thier new customer dispute center that goes live in June.
THESE LOGS ARE STILL AVAILABLE. You must request all dates and times of every sesssion played.
Once again, Jake, its not too late to request all logs.
Don't allow yourself to be cheated out of thousands of dollars.
The best and smartest couse of action is to WAIT until you can have the logs statistically anylized by someone truly independent.
If independent analysis confirms your suspicions, contact the highest managers at Stanley, and to tell them to discontinue Playtech software, and that you sincerely believe the old software IS reputable, but the new software is rigged.
Tell them they have lost... | | Read Entire Entry |

I've been playing the Single-deck Blackjack offered at Acropolis and it seems to me that it's not as streaky as the regular Blackjack and Blackjack Surrender ariations. Therefore it appears to be "fairer" to me when compared to the other two. Perhaps having a smaller pool of cards to draw from limits possibility of favorable cards that the software can deal to the house.

Big if that Playtech's random (although granted, in an unregulated industry, it's nigh on impossible to prove conclusively from a mathematical perspective). My own experience of Playtech's blackjack game across five or six casinos and dozens of sessions led me to the conclusion years ago that this software produced ery favourable results for the house and wasn't worth playing (for what it's worth, there's also lots of anecdotal evidence from other players that my experiences weren't unique).
However, Stanley is an extremely reputable company, so I decided to give Playtech a second chance in March, this time playing JorB ideo poker. After five or six sessions I've asked Stanley to close my account and notify me when they switch to a decent software. The sad thing is, Stanl... | | Read Entire Entry |

I can personally ouch for Acropolis - they have been ery good to me and they are the ONLY Playtech that pays in 24 hours (yes - 24 hours).
Sometimes I find a little bonus in my account and I like the monthly bonus. Maybe I'm being simplistic, but I would have thought that these kind of streaks happen in any game that relies on random generation - both winning and losing ones.

I have tried Acropolis just for a few times as I joined just before 1 week. I did join after I saw good comments here and elsewhere about Stanleys and Acropolis and also because I was looking for a "fair" playtech casino. Not much experience yet but I run into ery strange behaviour in bj:
I was betting 1-2$ and sometimes 5$ and quite fast I was loosing 100! couldnt believe it was fair. Then I thought to try another similar game and played BJ surrender, which is supposed to be one of their new games. There I won (with the same playing style) again quite fast about 100$ and just couldnt believe also how that could happen this way...
My personal feeling is that they rig some games (probably from time to time) for their own financial balancing reasons.
(Also, I do like their clear-explained bonus system and the future possibility of advancing playing level sometime when one can deposit and withdraw anytime without meeting WR)
Finally, I dont know what to do with Acropolis in th... | | Read Entire Entry |

Thanks for the replies.
To all those who want to see the logs, clearly that's not going to happen, but I can assure you that it happened - and have the hole in my bank account to prove it. I play multi-hand, so it's easier done than you think. Statistically, it is also possible, given that the house will base its 1.2% edge figure on somewhere over a quarter of a million hands.
Would be curious to hear more about the other software out there. I found Crockfords, Willie Hill and the Ritz fair overall, with the usual crappy patches, but this was a case apart.
Cheers
Jake

losing 50 hands in a row???
Yeah, as said above, I'd love to see the logs for that, and if true, Acropolis does have something to answer for.
This is/was the only casino running Playtech software that I'll play at, due to it being Stanley's.

Blimey thats amazing!
I personally dont like playtech either and dont play it at all.
Stanley still operate the Crockfords and Stanleybet casinos and I would ouch that these are totally fair.
If Acropolis is rigged then I would be suprised is its anything to do with Stanley, they are one of THE most reputable casino groups in the UK.

I stopped playing playtech blackjack around three years ago because I thought it was extremely suspicious. Although I can't prove anything, I won't play any casino or game that I'm dubious of.

I am an experienced and knowledgeable online and live player, especially of poker and blackjack, and was invited by Stanley to join the Acropolis online casino. Having now experienced their blackjack, I am convinced the software is rigged.
This is not sour grapes - I know how to take the rough with the smooth: this is the most unlikely combinations of cards to ensure the dealer beats the player 3 hands out of 4, no matter the technique deployed. I have experienced:
Dealer BJs every 4 - 6 hands on average;
Dealer drawing a face scoring one more than the player on almost all occasions;
5 aces pulled for the dealer to make sure the total beats the player;
losing streaks of 50 hands in a row - regardless of technique;
Dealer BJs more frequent in response to player upping his stake.
I know the "feel" of an online casino, and know the feel of a bad run of cards. This was something else, sustained over several sessions and thousands of hands.
