Just as a sidenote:
I think it's a good idea to avoid onliners that CAN accept ViSA/MC/AM .. . you know, credit cards. Why? Well, I know that they change the transaction code so that the payment appears NOT to be an illegal transaction (in the States). Now, doesn't that say something about them???
I recently gave it a go and tried using my credit card at one of my Sportsbook/Casino joints cause my Neteller balance was too low and I don't appreciate NTs total ripoff "InstCash" thingy. Based on the messages i got when I tried to make the deposit, it seemed to me that they were having trouble getting my VISA card to work and it wound up pending for awhile. Shortly afterward, it went through "somehow" and my balance reflected the deposit and the funds were accessable. Hmmm. A few days later I get an email stating that," as part of our standard erification process for all accounts, please provide your social security no. and erify that your credit account no. th... | | Read Entire Entry |

Paypal have indeed stopped all gambling related transactions and will close any accounts used for this purpose.

Yeah, this is interesting. I knew Paypal had stopped all gaming transactions, but I remember a couple of months ago coming across a casino that stated they accept Paypal. I don't remember who it was though.
My only thought was that they have a few companies and Paypal is operational for another operation within their business sphere, but they use it for accepting gaming deposits as well - obviously this would be a small casino outfit, and one to be avoided.

Paypal, when bought by EBay, gave plenty of notice before stopping 'gambling' related transactions in the late fall of 2002, if memory serves.
If any 'gambling site proclaiming to accept Paypal' something must be wrong.

I would avoid any sites you come across that claim to offer paypal. There is something wrong with that picture.
Plus, if Paypal ever notices your account being used for gambling transactions, you'll find your account locked and the funds frozen for an indefinite period of time, possibly forever.
I will not personally use Paypal at all. I've had the same $1 sitting in my account for almost 3 years, and don't plan to ever add funds to the account. There is just way too much credit card fraud on their system. They claim to have all of these advanced security procedures to prevent such fraud, but the reality is that it runs rampant.
Using it for sending money is one thing, but when it comes to receiving money, you better know who you're dealing with - I mean know them personally on some level. It amazes me that this system is still so widely used on ebay with so much reported fraud. The sad thing is that a lot of time, the ictims of this fraud also end up with their own acco... | | Read Entire Entry |

Paypal stopped gambling transactions years ago. Reputable casinos will not allow deposits by Paypal, any casino that still does is a shady operation.
