Topic: Holding on winnings because of Firepay Forum: Winner Online

When I use FirePay, I've noticed that it only takes up to 2 business days to clear my bank...I know it's not an instant transaction where the funds are immediately taken from my bank, but it doesn't take that long to clear my bank, personally speaking. I have noticed no difference from some other methods that I have used in concern to the time scale, which don't require such a holding period to receive your winnings. In addition, I am paying a fee for each transaction...so for a double whammy, I am not using FirePay anymore. So hopefully, I can prevent any future frustrations.

Funds from FirePay take 8 days to clear.

In order to avoid paying out a cash-in and then receiving a charge-back on the purchase we have implemented this waiting period.

This is probably the reason why several other casinos have a similar process.

Thanks so much for the information. I am not sure if there are any other casinos that pay out in a more timely fashion as well as they "take" in a timely fashion. It's just VERY frustrating and I don't like the wait at Music Hall. I am interested in playing slots mainly, by the way. It just be nice to receive my winnings just a little quicker, especially when I rarely cash in or win at slots as it is?

I've been trying to avoid using Citadel because of the 7 day holding period before you can receive your winnings at Music Hall. NOW there is a 4-5 day holding on Firepay at this casino, Music Hall. Is this the same with MOST casinos? I read a lot about people getting their winning within 48 hours and it seems to me that MH has too many holdings. I could understand some protection, but most of these clear from my bank within a day or two. It's funny how they will take ANY money from any resource automatically, but 5-7 days seems awfully long to me. It seems IF they were THAT protective then they should wait to take the money BEFORE you can play to begin with...but I know that never happens! Any feedback? Thanks!
