There are widespread rumors that claim that English Harbor owns Oddson and did own FortyPlus.
I have seen no official confirmation of this, but it is a persistent rumor among affiliates.

They quietly tried to send my deposit back to my neteller account after meeting the wagering requirements and cashing out at 2775. no email saying my account was locked, no email explaining why only the deposit was sent back..nothing. until I noticed today that they hadnt paid me yet. I emailed Virtual Exchange, and received this response:
"Unfortunately, your casino account has been blocked by our Risk Management Department, as the information you registered raised security flags when passed through our master database program.
Therefore, the account will remain blocked from any form of activity at this time and your original deposit has been refunded to your NeTeller account."
Again, I would like to know what the point of waiting 24hours to give players the bonus if they're not going to use that time to do their 'Risk Management'.
What do you think they mean by "the information you registered raised flags in our master database program&q... | | Read Entire Entry |

I doubt it's a rule at all - as mentioned by others they've tried pulling this a few times when a player has won at several of their casinos in a short space of time. No doubt for me it's just another case of this.
There never has been, and I doubt ever will be, a rule limiting only one account accross the group.
Only dodgy casinos such as G-fed and Oliver Curran/Warren Cloud's have rules like this - or else why bother having more than one casino?

This must be a new rule, too new to be included in their terms and conditions. I have had accounts at English Harbor, Caribbean Gold, and Silver Dollar for many years. I used to play more at Caribbean Gold, but for the last few years played only at Silver Dollar, and I played a lot, until they dropped blackjack from the games allowed for bonus play this summer.
Last May all three gave me no deposit bonuses for my birthday even though I had not played at English Harbour or Caribbean Gold for years.
I know I am not the only one who finds undisclosed terms unacceptable. Since English Harbour also runs land based casinos in the Caribbean, they have to understand that failing to pay players is ery bad publicity. Stay after them in a professional manner. I bet they will resolve this fairly.

Odds On, the same as every other software provider drawing royalties and providing gambling has in my opinion an obligation to police its licensees and assist legitimate players with a problem at one of those licensees. That was my position then, and it remains so now.
Anyone who reads the Forty Plus threads in the archives here will see that Odds On behaved in a most reprehensible manner in not communicating over an extended period with the players involved and doing little if anything to assist them in contacting the operators, who were hiding behind arious shelter companies in Costa Rica.
Only taking a hand late in the day, and only looking after those players who were sa y enough to complain and hang in despite being messed around is not good enough imo, and players need to be warned about this sort of behaviour especially if - and this was never conclusively confirmed to my knowledge - Odds On is owned by the EH group.

Jetset, you should know that English Harbour/OddsOn were only the software company for FortyPlus casino. English Harbour and OddsOn are probably one of the same now as I don't see other licensees. They did pay the FortyPlus players in the end too although they may not have been ery communicative beforehand. English Harbour were one of the first Microgaming licensees and were ery reputable but later left Microgaming and moved to OddsOn.
They are obviously in the wrong here but this is how OddsOn/EnglishHarbour now react to bonus players by fraudulantly denying winnings. The same thing happened to someone of Ukrainian origin from Canada who complained to me about it after opening accounts at the arious OddsOn sites (a friend of this same person had a problem with Fortune Lounge but they only gave him his deposit back and no winnings after six months) but he was paid in the end by OddsOn. This situation is almost identical so eventually they should pay after complaining enough.

Krisiwen - if you want an indication of how Odds On operates take a look at the archives here and at the other site for "Forty Plus Casino"!!! Not a positive experience, and neither Odds On nor English Harbour emerged clean from it.
I know this is advice after the fact, but it's important to research before putting your money down.

Hi Krisiwen,
I know English Harbour is lying in your face for several reasons.
First, the bonus doesn’t enter automatically; moreover, they have 24 hours before they credit your account. Is it not enough time to check if you have other accounts with them? I assume you used the same name, address and email for all your accounts so that should be really easy for them.
Second and even more amazing is the fact that I myself am trying to be ery careful with all casinos I play at so I actually sent Millionaire casino the following email a few weeks ago:
Hi,
I already have accounts in englishharbour casino, silverdollar casino and caribbeangold casino.
May I open an account in millionairecasino as well and receive the sign up bonus?
Regards,
Eliyahu.
Now, look at the answer I got:

Well spotted. As a general comment, I don't see any point in allowing only one account at a group of casinos, only one sign-up bonus may be understandable.
If a casino has such a clause in its T&C, then it should state which casinos are included in the group, rather than expect the player to do the detective work.

Are you sure this is the only account with English Harbour themselves ?(you haven't got one with English Harbour in $ have you?)
If so you have broken none of their rules and they should pay you.

EH won't pay 1855 claiming I opened more than one casino in their group of casinos
Actually they never state in the terms the names of the casino and I don't suppose to know that Millionaire casino is a casino that connected to EH
Also, many of my friends register at many odds casinos and got the bonus like me with no problem.
The bonus was not credited automatically but I had to wait 48 hours for it to be credited
They have no reason not to pay. I played the allowed games 1 line jacks or better and tri card poker, be aware English Harbour were approved casinos in the casinoemister now they become rouge they don't pay legitimate winnings
Hi Kerstin,
This letter is in reference to the account you recently registered with
English Harbour-Pounds Casino. As noted in the Terms and Conditions, it
is against policy to open multiple accounts within the group of
casinos.
Based on the internal definition of the casino, you... | | Read Entire Entry |
