LOL. We all start somewhere. I played .25/.50 and .50/1 for quite some time and made my move up the limits slowly, so I understand completely. First PokerStars bonus I played off (at $1/$2) was a horrible experience, because the clearance rate was so painful.

Tip for all newbies/micro-limit players:

No matter *what* you think of PokerStars bonuses, NEVER EVER fail to deposit for them. Deposit, wait the 48 hours, and withdraw. They are quite good when you move up in limits, they never expire, so you have no real reason not to bank these everytime they come up.

You can thank me a year from now when you're playing $3/$6 and rip through these in record time.

Very tough to finish playing lower stakes. I withdrew. Party's reloads make this look like garbage.

Quick update: Trying to clear this at .50/1 lim 6 max is insanely slow. I do not recommend it. Points just dont rack up. There are definitely NO quarter points- maybe double pts were being offered last time and I didnt realize it.

Moved up to 1/2 lim. Clearing OK, still pretty slow but way better than .50/1 lim. I'm almost done so I'll finish it up, but next time may deposit and wait for double points to start.

Hey Alphaunit1, I've seen you mention 48 hours before too.

What happens if I do withdraw all of the money within 48 hours?
I also seen ppl say withdraw the next day, is that any different?

I need to do this because I need to clear my big Victor Chandler bonus, which is taking forever.

Thanks

yeah, when you try a cashout within 48 hours, the withdrawal won't even go through. a pop up will come up and say "it hasn't been 48 hours since your last deposit" and you click ok and then try to withdraw the next day.

Just to confirm, it is exactly as they say - 48 hours. I was moving $s all over the place this last week, so I had to test it.

More NT points.

As far as I know, they will simply deny the withdrawal and tell you to wait until 48 hours is up. Understand that since I already know about the rule (I was told about it and confirmed on their website at some point), I have never bothered trying to withdraw early.

EDIT: The 48 hour rule is right on the cashout screen. Very bottom bullet point. "A cashout can only be requested 48 hours after your last deposit." Pretty cut and dry.

during double point promos, you earn double Base FPP's, so they count towards your bonus (or at least that's how they did it last time).

The promo I did was through another affiliate about 2 months ago (the only one offering a dep bonus back then). I didnt have PT at the time so cant check the stats. Only thing I can say is try it and see if u get any points for pots less than $10- no guarantees.

I searched Stars up and down for the raked hand requirements and such and didn't see anything about 1/4 pots counting. When did you play that you thought these counted?

I deposited for the full bonus but have put it on the back burner until double points, torneys, or nothing else to do. 7x seems a little steep if you play lower limits like myself and stars games are tighter than other sites.

$0.75 for fixed limit poker games with stakes $1/$2

For any no limit game you need a $20 pot. This is insane. See link. Any comments?

How are you guys going about clearing this? I am going to wait til double FPP's come out but it seems you need to play at least 2/4 or 3/6 limit and at least 1/2 no limit....

I've cleared the 5x at a combination of .5/1 and 1/2 limit in the past. Obviously ...

I received several pleas and cries for help from well respected BW posters that BW was just not the same without the llama. Even a PM from that famouns poster 2muchmoney

I was thinking that they were emails from the sites, because I just got UB, Fair Poker, CD Poker and Carlos Poker from BW, but not the ones that hime got - was expecting the PS one to arrive at any time from BW.......... Maybe they are taking lunch?

Now that's a sweet little addition, especially for higher stakes players.

It effectively makes this somewhere around a 3.5-4x bonus as compared to the old 5x reloads that PS had always offered (without the double FPP days of course).
