Hi Dadoni,
I received your message. I think the best thing to do is for you to contact Casinomeister. He already has the data from Marcelos' inquiry. I have contacted him and let him know that you will be contacting him.

Multiple accounts at Grand Virtual must be a fun job to sift through Jennifer. I do not envy your position.
Especially as before the sale they never really bothered to adhere to their own terms and conditions.
Support staff (inept at best admittedly) used to advise punters to open another account at the same casino when problems could not be easily solved, which was often. Now the new owners see all these multiple accounts and of course surmise the punters were and are out of order.
The wheat and the chaffe must seem to be all one and the same.
Where to draw the line? Me, I would say pay up what is won/disputed first, admittedly through gritted teeth, then close all the accounts for each individual barred player and start all over with said punter.
Aside chargebacks and barred jurisdictions of course.

I sent the private message, but I am really mad, with your kind words you say one thing that I am a fraud. I think the casino side is a fraud and not me .
My proof is the fact you paid after enough complaints to a player you also put a sticker of fraud on him. Using the word Fraud, bonus abuse is a nice way to escape from paying legitimate winners.
I will not accept any attempt to accuse with me in any fraudulent activity.
I played by the rules, deposited 1000 and reached over 3000, not grinding the bonus but gambled my money. What you say is that every one who deposited 1000 using the advertisement in your webiste during that time of the 50 players story would be accused in fraud and never received his money, well if that was the case why did you accept deposits from Israel at that time knowing you are not going to pay anyway. Once you accepted me as a new player let me deposit and let me play you should pay unless you have a specific reason not to pay. there are many w... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hi,
I am Jennifer Miller Joyce, VP of Marketing for Affiliated Web Attractions which manages marketing for all properties on the Grand Virtual platform. We were sold last year and as part of this process we have made a concerted commitment to improving our Customer Service. Our Management Team has tripled our Customer Service staff and is working to increase it further. We know that we still have a long way to go so we do appreciate your feedback.
Dadoni, you may send me a private message and I can tell you why your account was closed. As part of the erification of Marcelos, your account and over 50 related accounts were part of the data that I sent to Casinomeister. This data contains sensitive information that would compromise our Fraud Control processes. However, I am happy to share it once again with Casinomeister and let him arbitrate as an impartial third party if you would like.

Hi everyone,
Alter more than one year I got my winnings!!!
I pitched a bitch with the casino meister, he contacted the casino which after a little hassle paid me my winnnings entirely.
It seems they suspect there was some kind of group who made a fraud against the casino. I don´t know if it´s true or only an excuse.
Alter I proved them I don´t have anything to do with this they were willing to pay.
I´m doubtful whether they would have paid unless the casino meister was envolved and therefor I´m thankful for his help.
All the best,
Eyal.

a little off topic here, but some recent news on this casino group.
They may have new software, but they need to fix their PR outlook.
We know what happens to companies in a service industry who are
to focused on technology
GigaMedia, the Taiwanese entertainment firm that acquired casino software firm Grand Virtual last year, has reported a big rise in revenue for Q4 2004 as a result of a new software launch. The firm said revenue rose by over 300% to US$6.8m compared to the previous quarter “primarily driven by new game software launched during the period in the online casino ertical”. During the fourth quarter it released four new casino-based games and continued marketing a multi-player, online poker product launched in the third quarter of 2004 targeting non-English-speaking markets. GigaMedia said it will continue to invest in this business unit in 2005 to scale up operations, better capture market opportunities and capitalise on the high margins inherent in the entertainm... | | Read Entire Entry |

Hi Bethug, I wouldn't be afraid to say, 'No', I doubt anyone has been paid.
Am I wrong? I hope so, but doubt it!
Just keeping up on reading this thread alone, this place shows a definite pattern of just returning deposits and keeping all winnings.
Don't let some forked tongue PR person or Manager poison your mind, keep your thoughts clear, and if you ask a question, keep repeating that same question until you get a definite answer, not a side step answer. A direct one!!

Did anyone pitch a pitch with casinomeister in the end? I'm not sure if he can help, especially now they've been sold. Quite a while ago, a couple of the casinos were recommended on his site. I even had problems with them then and had to pitch a bitch myself to get them to answer email and add a bonus.

you can add me to the list of non paid players
My user name in casinolux dadon010
I cashed in 3560$ and only the deposit was returned
I sent them all the documentation they asked.
I obeyed their terms regarding the signup bonus I received.
This is not the only casino which I was not paid only due to the fact that I am from Israel, I think that is the reason too.
If the union can help that would be great , if not just warn other players not to play there
Avoid them at all cost!!!

Bonus,
I did not suggest otherwise. What I did suggest is that moderation involving the player, the casino, and an independent third party be a step before a charge back. I will say ery plainly that I do not think the Executive Director of the Online Gaming Alliance is interested in moderation. This is unfortunate as it could have lead to the player being paid and a line of communication being opened with the Grand Virtual group of casinos. As it stands, the casino is facing a charge back, the player is upset and all GV powered casinos and the GVGA is tarnished.
Ian.
btw - strike wagercity from your list Bethug, a notice there reads that they will be indefinitely suspending WagerCity operations' I wonder why?

Mr. Porter email doesn't answer the problem.
Look, Montana which is a respectable dispute organization also checks for players' claims against casinos.
Whenever a casino denies a payment he has to justify it in front of Montana.
Montana doesn't tell to you HOW they know you iolated the terms of use but they do tell you exactly WHAT is the charge under which you are not paid.
For example, let's say two people used the same computer which is against the terms of use.
The casino can know it by checking the IP address, the computer number or any other way for that reason. They don't have to expose the way in which they discovered that fact but they have to bring proves to Montana that indeed two people used the same computer and Montana tells the user this is the reason for him/her being banned.
With all the respect to the Online Gaming Alliance I think they can learn a thing or two from Montana.
The same goes here. The casino can't avoid payment because they put me in som... | | Read Entire Entry |

Doing a chargeback when being ripped off is not fraud. The player has no intention to dishonestly deprive the casino of anything. The player could not be assumed to have a reasonable expectation to go through an ordeal to get what he deserves when he first entrusts his funds to the casino. Most players expected a fair game and prompt payouts from a casino, NOT hurdles when he tries to get his funds. Has the casino stated in the terms, "you should first file a complaint to XXX if we don't pay you" or more explicitly. "it is matter of manager's discretion on whether to pay you or not"?
Don't blame the player for hurting the industry, it is the casino who is doing it.

Thank you for your inquiry.
Casino Elegance serves thousands of players every week. The ast majority are honorable, sincere gaming enthusiasts who do not attempt to iolate the player agreement or defraud the Casino. A ery few individuals behave differently, and the Casino prudently exercises its right to ban them without providing information that will help those players understand how they got caught in the first place.
We are aware of threats made by the player in question. Casino Elegance stands by the determinations of their Risk Management professionals and will not be blackmailed into making private information public or into paying fraudulent claims. OGA applauds Casino Elegance for taking a firm stand against such coercion and for relying on its well-established integrity and ethical business reputation to sustain an atmosphere of trust within the gaming community.

I've been playing with Casino Elegance for 4 years. I have won and I have lost. I have never had a problem. The first time I made a large withdrawal, they asked to erify my account for security purposes. Once I did, I never had any incidents.
They did give you your original funds back, didn't they? Also, what do you think it is about your account that is suspicious? There usually is something, or no Casino would want to ban users that could be coming back to spend more money...

Hi everyone.
Thanks for the support.
To make a long story short I deposited 1,000$ ended up with 3965$ and got only my deposit back.
This means 2965$ of my winnings are held by the casino.
I can only charge back the deposit, therefore it won't help me much.
The story of Kashmir makes me think there is a large group of people who were cheated by that casino.
I'm looking forward to see if the union can achive something.
Thanks again.

kashmir , I hate to see this. After a period of time you should have brought it to the players. We cant let crackhead casino stay in business. It hurts is all. And some webmaster don't care at all. They want players complaints to be hush hush. So mostly we got an all deposit casino on are hands back by a fake watchdog.
I will have someone email them from the union and see if we can get some answers. Sorry this happen to you

Chargebacks don't help the industry and often the player is just left with a bitter taste after taking this decision given the way these situations play out. marcelos I am not saying drop the case, I am saying that you should press Robert Porter for a better explanation. Is he aware of this posting? He has gone to the trouble of replying to your questions so he is responsive. He may not be forthcoming with facts however it is often in the interest of a casino's ongoing fraud management not to give away to many details. You don't want to turn an explanation into a lesson on fraud. Even the mention of a chargeback will make Mr Porter sit up and take notice. My next step would be to invite Mr Porter to PM one of the moderators here with a iew to taking this discussion offline and hopefu... | | Read Entire Entry |

That is CRAP!! They HAVE to have a REASON for banning you and you have a right to that reason, otherwise, why would anyone RISK their own money wondering if they'll be placed on this "list" ....
BULL!!!!!!
And the part where it says, we're not taking you to court..LOL
THEY CAN'T TAKE YOU TO COURT! WHAT COURT WOULD EVEN ALLOW AN ONLINE CASINO IN COURT??????????????? It would NEVER HAPPEN ANYWAY!! They are A**H***S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think everyone should just boycott them...and blacklist em!

Hi everyone.
First to your questions.
1 - I did ask why I was listed.
2 - I haven't charged back at any casino of that group or for that matter any casino at all.
3 - I did pitch a bitch at Casinomeister. Unfortunately it seems he doesn't like people from Israel. I'm not sure that is the reason but he ignored my complain and a few emails I sent him later on regarding that matter. I heard other players from Israel got the same treatment so I think it might have to do something with it.
Here is the last email I sent to the Online Gaming Alliance (OGA) and the replay I got.
"Dear Robert J. Porter,
Thanks for your answer.
May I ask you a few questions please?
1 - Why Casino Elegance has listed me in the OGA Risk Management Database?
2 - Could it be that earning too much money was the reason for that? Could it be that had I lost my money they wouldn't have listed me anywhere and just would have just taken my money?

I didn't hear about them being sold last year. This group isn't reputable any more but maybe if you pitch a bitch at Casinomeister, he could help. He probably doesn't know the management now, though, as it's been a long time since they were on his site.
gamingalliance.org is just a fake group and the only casinos they recommend are Grand Virtual ones.

Sorry to hear about this Marcelos. I am a little surprised that Casino Elegance and the gamingalliance.org gave no reason for locking your account (or did they?) Keep in mind that these two sites are reportedly owned by the same people. The grand irtual group of multi-lingual casinos were true market leaders some 3-4 years ago. You don't hear much about them these days, apart from their semi high profile sale a few months back.
