The answer is when we get software that has the client and the host server sharing the generation of the final RNG number.
This will result in a big drop in the min/max bet of table games, to reduce the risk for the casino.

Sadly greed and ease of fixing do make some online casinos tamper their software in an immoral way such that players lose more and faster than the dictation of the house edge. Even with multi-player roulette, couldn't the software be fixed such that the ball falls on a number that guarantees that the casino has more wins than losses per spin? Ultimately the fairness of games depends on the integrity of software providers and casino operators, do you agree?

Probably, one of the most reliable ways to be convinced that a casino doesn't deceive you is to play multi-player games (including multi-player roulette), where several persons play at the same table at the same time. At least, in this case there is no sense for the casino to play exactly against you.
