Glad you can put it to rest in your mind Sdaddy.

As far as i'm concerned, they still owe you 13k or so.

Deals struck between depositing players and rogue casinos who corner players don't count as far as i'm concerned.

Great to hear that you've been paid, sdaddy, and kudos to you for your tenacity in pursuing this - I'm pretty sure that without your determination this would have been allowed to just drift away.

Thanks, too for posting about your frustrating experiences - you may have saved many other players the trials and tribulations you have had to undergo just to get paid by this outfit.

A ery positive turn of events, as the management recently contacted me about this issue and promptly made the overdue payment as well as the final one due next month. Therefore, I'm pleased to report that this case is now closed. Thank you for everyone's attention throughout this.

*Sigh* I had hoped that these guys were finally going to follow through on their promises to me, especially after they put it down in writing this time. For a while the monthly payments did indeed occur on time, but now they have unexpectedly stopped. Given that management even refuses to respond to my inquires about this, I can only assume that they intend to renege on this latest deal, of which I am still owed around $6400.

Very bad move, African Palace. This will not be good for you once word gets out about this.

indio casino doesn't pay me 2,300 USD in winnings for 7 months now.
Look at the email they sent me, they are putting the blame on playtech for some so-called black list.
Of course playtech is non responsive and the complain I filed with them is ignored for 6 months now. emails didn't help much.

Hi ?????,

Thank you for your email and for choosing Indio Casino!

According to our records, your casino account was locked due to bonus related issues by another casino in the Playtech network. This effectively means that you are now listed in the negative database which is shared across all the Casinos in the Playtech network. The hold of your payment was caused due to this suspension of your account.

Regrettably, due to this negative listing and due to your account being suspended, we will not be able to process your winning as per our terms and conditions (http://www.indiocasino.com/terms.html);

A positive turn of events of late, as a new settlement has finally been reached between myself and African Palace Casino. The written terms now reflect what I had agreed to erbally in the recent talks with management. In fact I can already confirm receiving my first scheduled payment. It is my hope that this matter is now concluded. Thanks to everyone who has been of assistance.

Nice message there, Jetset!

When summing up the paid installments I realized that I am now paid in full by this Casino after a waiting period of -I do not a know how many months anymore-.

I will of course give African Palace another deposit of a several thousand Dollars right away as their instant-withdrawal facility is simply stunning me! JAJA!!

Sugar Daddy, I know that you will keep us all informed about their ignorance of your withdrawal and I will try my best to at least give you a little bit of backup.
Paskaran, I was going to thank you for your assistance but changed my mind after having heard about Suggar Daddys situation. I am still hoping that the next statement about your Casino regarding this non-payment is going to be a positive one, otherwise I am positive that your group of Casinos is going to disappear off this market soon.

African Palace reneges on another deal

The ongoing saga of the online player who has been trying to get payment from Playtech-powered African Palace Casino.com for over two years continued this week with the casino management reneging on yet another settlement agreement. Originally owed just over $41 000 after gambling extensively on the site, the player has experienced unbelievable run-arounds ever since with a management that does not seem inclined to meet its obligations despite repeated settlement agreements with the player.

Thus far it's been an uphill battle for this player that has recovered only $12 000, and this after agreements brokered by Neteller were not met by the casino.

More recently, things seemed a little more hopeful when a poster appeared on the message boar...

And these guys wonder why they are blacklisted and want to be removed from the blacklist.

You have really got to wonder sometimes whether these casinos realize how much blacklists do hurt them.

It just seems to me it would be a lot more profitable to do the right thing.

What is wrong with these people? This is now the third (I think ?) settlement with this player on which they have reneged - there was the original agreement, then the one reached with the aid of Neteller and now this sorry-ass affair following the appearance here of their "new behaviour" ambassador.

Clearly these guys can't be trusted, and the disappointing thing is that Playtech are doing nothing about this blatant rip-off of a player with a legimate claim to something over $40K who is reasonable enough to settle for a lesser amount just to dump the stress this is causing.

It will be interesting to see what Paskaran the African Palace manager who was posting here recently has to say about this latest disgraceful turn of events.

sdaddy, in your shoes I would now be tempted to go all-out against these guys - you have certainly given them more than enough understanding and leeway. I would do the whole thing, starting with the fora and then moving on to Playtech, ...

I want to update everyone on what has occurred since the latest effort to resolve my payment dispute started about a month ago. In the above post the new affiliate manager of First Grand Gaming gave assurances that their abuses against players were a thing of the past and that a good faith effort to resolve my case would be started. So despite my apprehension, I decided to give them another chance to make things right. I felt they would not be coming to the player forums, if their intentions weren’t genuine.

After a difficult, drawn-out process I finally received a new reasonable settlement offer erbally from the management. For days I had to wait on a promised written confirmation of the agreement, which I insisted I have before I accepted it. Then, to my shock when I read it, it was not the offer I had agreed to, and they refused to correct it. Unbelievable!

So there you have it, same old African Palace Casino after all. I’ve been in my share of disputes with online casinos over ...

Straight out, the player in question WILL get paid. I am awaiting his/her details in order to take this up further. I am aware that there had been a few issues with regards to one player. I cannot in terms of our privacy agreement go into detail about this matter on this board.

I will humbly ask the members concerned to communicate directly with myself, ia my email address or our telephone channels provided in my signature. Schankwart, I believe from your posting that there is also a payment owed to you. Please could you also forward your details to paskaran@firstgrand.com.

Just to answer the questions raised in the last post, numerous changes have been made here at First Grand, in efforts to provide a better, more efficient and reliable service. There has been a change and increase of staff, from new Call Centre agents, to additional Account Managers as well as changes to the casino payment policies. The postings that do arise are payment problems experienced...

If the IPO does go ahead, I see no reason why legal action cannot be taken against Playtech. Obviously that would be an extraordinary pain in the backside, and the technicality of the matter concerning a Playtech licensee and not Playtech themselves is a concern. Press coverage is probably still the best option right now.

Thanks for the update, Caruso.

Honestly, that wasn't a terribly encouraging response you got back. You could try a bit more with him, but no sense wasting your time on someone who's not going to do much of anything. You've certainly been down that road before in your dealings with Iris Toledano at Playtech.

I suppose it wouldn't hurt in your next communication to remind this fellow that many besides yourself are following this case to see if Playtech will do anything to make it right.

Look. Just leave Playtech to worry about their 19410357054 kroon filled betting satchel and don't bother them with $25k payouts.

You'll bankrupt them in 600 years don't you know. Then the next guy will never get a 25k payout either, will he.

You are a determined and helpful resource in the online gaming world Caruso. Just wanted to say thanks for all your effort in helping people over the years. Anyone who doesn't really know this industry well, doesn't realize how hard it is to get a hold of people and get things accomplished, you however, often manage to do this through your own time and effort.

Just a quick thanks!! Sorry for getting off topic, I hope you can recover this money, this group is a real cancer in this industry, hopefully Playtech realizes this and cancels their lice...

As far as assistance of Mrs. Toledano goes, I have gotten absolutely -none- after probabaly three months of waiting and reminder-emails to her.
I have no idea what she or her company is up to but am having no choice but to put my trust in her, at this point still. As of today their dispute service has been a plain waste of time and disappointment.

African Palace is refusing to pay me as per their own payment plan as well and I will not let them (and Playtech) go until it has been settled. I will contact Playtech's "Mrs. Toledano" again soon so she at least knows what is up.

African Palace and Indio criticised by high roller

The operators of African Palace and Indio online casinos have been in many slowpay disputes with players going back to their days as a Futurebet software licensee. When they switched to Playtech software there were hopes in player-land that this wayward conduct would stop, but unfortunately it appears to have become worse with player complaints surfacing regularly.

One issue that stands out from the crowd in terms of both longevity and alue is described below by a high roller who mistakenly thought that these casinos would treat him with respect and honesty.

"In September of 2004 I took part in a weekend promotion running at African Palace Casino and its sister, Indio Casino. The promo was clearly intended to entice well bankrolled...
