You don't know what you're dealing with. This isn't a legally accountable entity, it's a clip-joint based in Costa Rica. Who are you going to sue?

Anyway, we've aleady been over all this.

Hi,

It's a bit of an either-way situation. You do have the upper hand though, if the following conditions are met:

1) You yourself did not request in any way that your account activity be restricted, it was only your wife that did

2) - the first is dependent upon this - That your wife in no way has been legally appointed or recognized as a primary speaker / caretaker over your decisions due to any disorder or disability that you have

3) - This isn't concrete it would just really help - if you can show in your transaction history that those winnings came from funds deposited BEFORE the requests for restriction and not after the requests they have no case anyway.

But I would talk to a lawyer in the end and see if you have a case, because they're obviously just trying to cover their asses on a big payout. I would sue for the 22k for sure and then on top I would nail them for withholding ONLY WHEN IT PROFITS THEM! Let's be honest here, they would have j...

Cloud went under several aliases, Oliver Curren being the most recent. Donald Fortune (LOL) and Richard Brookes were others. He "claims" to have sold the Crystal Palace group, but I think this is a subterfuge; he knows his name is damaged goods (do a Google search of "Warren Cloud" and you'll see one reason for that ) so he pretended he was quitting. Everything about the group seems the same now as it was then, so I'm sure he's still in charge.

Really unbelievable how thieves can continue to operate year in and year out. I personally like casinos that are a bit rogue (not thieves) but trailblazers and pioneers. But at the end of the day, a bet layed is a bet paid if a win happens - or it is a thief.

Any casino that lets a US payer wager is a bit rogue these days, and I'm totally okay with that. Sorry for being a bit off topic, I totally sympathize with the OP's plight and have seen it on message boards all over for quite some time, and it is ery good it is kept in the light and bumped again and again.

Sorry if I seem uninformed... but is CP warren cloud or oliver curren, or are they the same?

Just found this in my blog article about DC's case, posted one month ago:

Quote:

Oh my God. I've should have read this earlier. Crystal Palace Casino stole $ 7.000,00 from me.
What happened:

May 27th 2007 we won a jackpot and (after loosing a bit) we wanted to cash $ 12.000,00.
In Crystal Palace Casino one can only withdraw a maximum of $ 5.000,00 per week.
We did however requested them all on the same day.

June 3rd we received the first $ 5.000,00 was approved.

Then we waited and waited.

We tried to communicate with support and asked them where are money was. They told us we had to send:
? FaxBack forms
? Credit card copies front and back
? Utility bills
? Drivers licenses
Which we did several times. Support kept telling us everything would be all right now.

June 26th they declined our withdrawal request.
July 24th they declined again
August 8th declined again
Every ...

There is no real recourse Donnie.

Hopefully they will pay you, if you jump through the hoops they ask.

If not, apparently the licensing authority have asked the firm dealing with the Absolute Poker report, to look into players complaints. Therefore, if the casino don't pay you, you may have someone to present your complaint to.

I'm assuming you're referring to my $4,000 withdrawal from CP that occurred well before I was denied the $22,000 + in winnings?

In that instance, I waited about two weeks....in fact since that cashout went relatively smoothly, I was encouraged to keep playing with these guys -even though I was well aware of their less than stellar track record with other players....I of course learned my lesson BIG TIME when I got screwed out of the $22 G's!!

Hmmm, maybe that Absolute Poker investigation finally lit a fire under Kahnawake.

If they force Crystal Palace to pay its debts to players, that will be another big step forward.

Noticed this from Bailey's latest newsletter:

Quote:

Heads Up on the Crystal Palace Group

If you have a legitimate issue about this rogue casino group, please either fill out a Pitch a Bitch or contact me. The Kahnawake Gaming Commission has brought on their auditors, the Gaming Associates, to review and handle these complaints. I'm not sure how far back they are willing to go, but they may be willing to consider issues that have collected a bit of dust.

There is something seriously wrong with a casino group when a licensing agency has to get involved with player issues - players need to remain wary of these casinos.

It is easy to spot as long as you know what to look for! Curran keeps putting this phrase in his Casino terms:

In addition. we contribute to and makes use of a shared industry database of promotion abusers. Individuals known from this database to only make use of promotional offers without ever risking their own funds will not be eligible for this promotional offer."

The inclusion of Crystal Palace as a bona fide (i.e. "legitimate") operation on this site, just proves once again, that money talks, and bulls^&t walks!

I am deeply chagrined that this whole US ban on internet gambling occurred when it did, because had it not, I truly believe my media friends would have followed through on their expose of Cloud and his gang of his thieves. Unfortunately circumstances being what they are at present, no major media outlet is going to highlight US based players who have been screwed, while participating in an activity that is now technically illegal.

The only solace I take, is that hopefully in the not too distant future, some LEGITIMATE enterprises (like The Mirage Group, Bally's etc.) will drive these bottom feeders like Cloud/Curran out of business entirely.

Of course, by that time, he will be sipping mai tai's on some tropical island with the RTG bigwigs having laughed all the way to the bank...

I doubt Crypto hasn't handed over WOL to Warren Cloud, Shankie, LOL. Best that none of us are too antagonistic on this emotive subject.

Also worth bearing in mind that Max doesn't have anything to do with WOL marketing, no more than WOL is his company, but he's our point of contact with those who are, and he's probably a bit more in the know about the scene as well - in addition to having an influencing oice.

Just got back from Montreal - and some rafting in the St. Lawrence - when our guide pointed out the Kahnawake territory that was looming in the horizon.

I was literally a "stones throw away" from that stellar regulatory body, and yes I did feel like throwing a few stones - or boulders!

Even more humorous was this blurb on what the Kahnawake reservation is focused on in the new millenium ia one of their own press releases:

"The Kahnawake Nation has always been about justice, integrity, and fair play, so it's not surprising that the Kahnawake group is regarded as the LEADING REGULATORY AND "WATCH DOG" agency governing online casino gambling worldwide".

Wow,,talk about spin doctoring!!!

1) Fast response to complaints - an immediate acknowledgement and then a fast attention to the issue followed by a decision. Most disputes should be capable of resolution within a few days.

2) Either employ an experienced person or train one up - perhaps in collaboration with the 'Meister.

3) Consistency - have a set of basic policies to cover principal areas of dispute that can be applied for speed and consistency.

4) Convenience - a well publicised online facility where players can lodge reports for fast attention.

5) Enforcement - make compliance with regulations and a responsive attitude to the Kahnawake disputes person a condition of a Kahnawake license. Operators must be required to commu...

Well..today I received a spanking new CD-ROM and $100 free play offer from one of those stellar Crystalisle licensees - Royal Circus (how fitting...)

So I phoned their "one size fits all" customer service line, and asked them if I'd be eligible to cash out winnings - if I was fortunate enough to have any - considering I was no longer an "active" player at their flagship sister site - Crystal Palace (having been banned of course due to my $22,000 withdrawal debacle..)

Their response: "No problem Sir!" "We don't care what happened at Crystal Palace..You can deposit with us and cash out with us,,,no problem"

Un-freaking- believable huh?

SO..at that point,,I told them I'd be happy to take advantage of the Royal Circus free play offer - provided they tell when I can expect my first check from the $22,000 Crystal Palace still owed me....

They "played along" with me for some reason, and asked me my former a...
