A couple of updated Google rankings - this thread is still at #3.

Casinomeister threw Lucky Ace into the rogue pit yesterday, and that listing is now sitting at #5, less than 24 hours later.

CM ROGUE LISTING

And I heard back from one of the webmasters who I had contacted last week, who at that time had his listing for Lucky Ace sitting at #3. In addition to contacting the casino himself, he has issued a warning/update re: Lucky Ace on his site, which is linked to from his original listing, currently #6 on Google.

LINK TO LUCKY ACE WARNING

He is also willing to personally help anyone who hasn't received their full winnings within the next two weeks. He did more than I expected him to, so a thanks go out to him as well.

The sad part is that I bet there are still players out there who have been screwed and have no idea where to turn to for help. Hopefully the hits on Google will be of help to anyone who searches Lucky Ace.

And aga...

Might as well reiterate that you can avoid scanning the PDF file if you straight cut & paste the form from my site - copiable text provided by Pinababy:

Why they can't just put it up in standard copiable web page format is anyone's guess.

Maybe you should be grateful that these people are casino affiliates and are not selling cars. Because they are the people who would knowingly sell you a car with faulty brakes.

Neither. A bit "closer to home", actually. Doesn't matter. One understands that people need to make money any way it comes and aren't too fussy about the mechanics.

This is off-topic in regard to LA, but fits the more general theme of industry proaction. I just read this, from someone I reckon is an experienced affiliate. It took my head off. In fact, my head is still off.

Quote:

I must say, the stats for 32Red are pretty close to the poorest in the industry.

They have stated they have no intention of attempting to add any kind of click tracking (which is an absolute NEED for the affiliate) let alone have no plans to add campaign tracking....

For me, as a general beginning rule of thumb, programs that do not have campaign tracking get less exposure and those without click tracking get the least amount of exposure.

Yes, there are other factors such as honesty from the program, whether players get paid and other issues to look at, but as a rule-of-thumb, for the proerties I decide to promote, I must stand on what works for me and helps me tweak marketing, placement etc....

That's pretty much exactly as I see it in all regards, and moreorless as I have said to people who've been limp-wristedly faffing around. I love the "CS still hasn't responded" line. Well, duuuuh, you don't say?

Jetset has put in a creditable performance. I haven't even started to forgive him the £1000 GBP I'm out as a result of his HippoJo BS, but of all the industry people involved, Bryan Bailey hasn't even managed to comment (actually, that's probably for the best), and Max totally bollocksed up with THE most anti-player nonsense he could come up with before getting his act together, which after eight years on the front line at WOL was inexcusable. Jetset has advocated the correct and non industry-friendly line of not hush-hushing this thing with in-house complaints to Max, but putting the industry a bit on the line with exposure to the "authorities", from the off. Not exactly what I expected, and I was pleasantly surprised. I don't normally expect to have him singing f...

That is excellent Caruso, so it's there and easily accessible for anyone who chooses to use it.

I just finished reading the latest posts in the two threads at CM, and Jetset makes pretty much the same point that I made regarding people filing complaints with the GRA. There are still a few people who have posted that they have received no further replies from Lucky Ace/888, and who wondered if their next step should be to "threaten" LA with a formal complaint. No....don't threaten them, do it. Follow through on it. How else can the GRA possibly be expected to have these things on record for future reference if no one actually files a complaint?

This is where alot of my...

Yes doh.

There is the house & the punter.

Both are trying to make a few quid.

The casino takes advantage of the house edge multiplied by x amount of millions of bets, per hour, across the industry, worldwide.

This scenario will play itself out again and again until some sort of charter is agreed upon regarding how the industry itself, across the board, iews the players right to win as much money as possible with casino credits, however they are derived.

Thanks Caruso, obviously I'm a twit.

I just caught up at CM, and it now appears that players are receiving a form email telling them that while their account(s) will remain locked/blocked, they will now have their complete withdrawals honoured and processed. There are still a few people who are being completely ignored, let's hope they actually follow through and file a complaint with the GRA.

It seems that many of the players did nothing more than threaten Lucky Ace with a formal complaint, while only one or two have posted that they actually filed one. I really wish players would follow through on this stuff, so that it would at least be on record with the licensing authority.

And while this seems it will probably work out eventually for the aggrieved players, the whole situation still needs clarification in re: white labels in general, and specifically who is responsible for policing them? eCOGRA needs to pull their head out of the sand, and any licensing authority ne...

Here is the Gibraltar complaint form, supplied by Pinababy who has spent a fair time manually copying it. It can be cut & pasted, then completed and scanned (or even snail-mailed). That cuts out the nuisance of having to print it off in the first place. In fact, if you snail-mail it you don't even need a scanner.

They don't exactly make it easy to complain, do they?

Hey Caruso, just tried that and it won't work either....too many characters. It says the limit is 12,000 and the document contains 14,500. And I can't start editing it, lol.

If you have a hotmail or yahoo or something, PM it to me and I'll forward you a full copy of both documents...which you can send on to whomever needs it. I'm assuming they don't want to post publicly or don't want me knowing who they are...which is fine. PM me any addy that I can send this to you at.

The CRRF is only 99.5 kb, and the procedures form is only 58.5 kb. They're not huge files.

I just had a conversation with someone who is confident that the GRA takes this stuff ery seriously, and will indeed look into it. So if anyone who has a alid complaint against this organization has not yet filed a complaint, please do so ASAP.

I just went to the GRA site, and it said documents section was under construction, so I'm not sure if people can d/l the form at the moment or not. I'm going to try and attach a copy of the complaint resolution form in Word format. It needs to be printed, filled out and signed. Electronic signatures are NOT accepted, it needs to be handwritten.

I'm also going to attach the Complaints Procedure form, for anyone not familiar with it.

Well, it appears the files are too large to upload here, so that's out. If anyone needs to file a complaint, and is unable for any reason to access the .pdf download file from the GRA site directly, PM me with your email address and I will send you a Word copy of the document which you can print out.

Got a link for that? I'm trying to gather all the info together for a blog article.

On the matter of the terms: if we accept that the casino is in contravention of its stated terms in regard to winnings (which it is), that leaves the matter of the casino's term which allows for the confiscation of bonuses, and the enforceability thereof. Here is the relevant legislation:

Gibraltar Unfair Terms In Consumer Contracts

Quote:

Unfair terms

4. (1). In this Act, "unfair term" means any term which contrary to the requirement of good faith causes a significant imbalance in the parties' rights and obligations under the contract to the detriment of the consumer.

ASSESSMENT OF GOOD FAITH

In making an assessment of good faith, regard shall be had in particular to -

d) the extent to which the seller or supplier has dealt fairly and equitably with the consumer

It seems to me that to reserve the right...

I absolutely agree with the bolded part Caruso. They can't have their cake and eat it too. If they want to run these white labels, then they (the parent company) need to be responsible for them. And someone needs to hold them accountable. Period.

I'm curious about their status with Gibraltar right now.

Hypothesis: they do not answer to Gibraltar.

888.com is Gibraltar based. The reason for this is that they enjoy the benefits of "regulation" by a reputable body, including recent advertising priviledges as per the Gaming Commission "whitelist". However, the downside, including such annoyances of having to pay players who win, is an irritation. They could do without this.

Solution?

They set up a load of white label sites. They operate these sites and take a share of the profits, BUT the sites are registered to non-Gibraltar based scams such as this "Kammy" organisation, and do not answer to Gibraltar. Now 888.com can operate with absolute impunity through these offshore white labels, as they answer to nobody.

In this way, 888.com takes all the benefits of reputable "regulation", and the downside, that of not being able to rip off players, is substantially...
