Played the same game except you only get 3 cards and the scoring was more complicated, and you play it with an Italian Deck....really then are similar though..

hey , i think i might be of help
following the description of your game, the game you might be searching for is called 'casino'. The game casino actually has a few more rules that gives points for capturing certain important cards though (only a couple). But i think the description of your game fits ery nicely with the basics of Casino, you might want to add rules that you find interesting! they certainly make the game more interesting. anyway, as with any card game question, make sure to isita Pagat, its amazing!

First I would like to say Hi to everyone here. This is my first post. Iam not sure if this is the right place to ask this but it seemed like the best fit.
I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify a specific card game I was taught. I belive it comes from somewhere in Africa but i may be wrong.
I belive its a 4 player game but again that may be wrong.
You have 4 cards in your hand and 4 cards are face up in the middle of the table. The objective is to use the cards in your hand as well as the ones on the table to make the alue of the cards in your hand.
For example if you have a 10 in your hand and a 10 on the table you can pick them up and add them to your pile. You can also pick up two 5's on the table with a 10 in your hand and add them to your pile.
And when all the cards from your hand are gone everyone is dealt 4 more cards and the game continues till the whole deck has been dealt.
