thats pretty funny, the first time i did it i was like what the hell, and had to do it again. Then i got it, duh. LOL. Never seen this site before, thanks for the link.

Okay, so I clicked on it before I read through all of the posts. I was thinking, how was that a bad card trick? My card wasn't there. NOW I get it.
But the way I figure, it can't be that bad if it gets people. I guess I am just gullible.

It's not the worst card trick online but after reading some of the comments, there's no doubt a few of you became angry and bitter when you were fooled. HAHAHAHA

Heh, compared to the crap that can be found online, I fail to see the reason to be outraged by something that's at least managed to fool a decent percentage of the population.
It's not the newest trick in the book, but it's still likely to shock some people. *shrug*

lol , maybe you 've figured it out by now but in case you havent here it is:
they show you 6 cards, and tell you to remember one. Then they show you five new ones. those five new ones, are actually NEW ONES. therefore, whatever card you choose from the original 6 wont be in the 5 new ones. As you only concentrate in ONE card, you dont realize that they've changed everything.

People.. You say this isn't a trick?...This is how almost ALL tricks are done.. with stupid little ends like this.. I suppose its just.. people don't pay close enough attention.. I'm into magic greatly.. and I do realize..that its always some STUPID little tweek to it that provides what we call " the magic "...

funny thing this trick. first time i did it i was in yr 10 and got it straight away as i concentrated on two cards... and obviously none of them reappeared!
next time was in yr 12 and i remembered that it was a lame trick... but forgot how it was done. i would hate to admit, but this second encounter did take me about 4 or 5 times to get it!! when i realized, i felt stupid.
now that im in uni, the psychology lecturer actually showed it to us (on a slide show) at the end of a lecture. this time i was ery much aware of the trick, but i heard a lot of 'awwws' arounds. not sure if they were "awww, that is so amazing" or "aw, that is so stupid". I'm sure there were both types, but im inclinded to say that there were more "awws" for amazement

The trick, of course, is that none of the cards are repeated. All of the cards change suits - spades become clubs, hearts become diamonds, etc. Saw this years ago.....
