I know this is an older thread but I just had to relate my recent experience with this game.
It Friday night and I was playing a dealer's choice game with some random friends and friends of friends. Some of the games called were 7 card stud, holdem, 5 card stud, 5 card draw, Guts, and In Between.
Well, "In Between" seems easy enough. Just basic gambling. But to add an extra twist to it, these folks play that you have to double your wager if you hit either of the two outside cards. For instance, if the outliers are 4 and J and you wager half the pot and the next card comes out J, you have to double your wager thus doubling the pot.
Well, I had done pretty well the first few times this game was called so I was feeling lucky. Before my turn came around, the lady to my right had bet pot on A 4 and hit an A. That tripled the pot to $22. (Keep in mind, this was just a friendly game with $.50 antes... not our regular weekly cash game). So my turn comes up and another A hi... | | Read Entire Entry |

We called that in between also. The rules for between the sheets ary based on the sex of, and your relationship to your opponent. I am told there is a completely different set of rules if played in Vegas but you would have to ask Bill or some other expert about that.

Oooh we just call that in between..
Rules are simple.. everyone puts a certain ante in the pot. 1 person is the dealer.. place out the 2 cards to a person. He can bet any amount that is in the pot and/or even the full entire pot. If the card comes between those 2 cards he now takes the amount he bet and game would be over if he bet the whole pot. However if he misses, his bet goes into the pot and the next person in line bets. To make it interesting, something like black jack is to place the bet 1st cause if you see the cards 1st.. you can then determine the size of your bet. Another reason this works better is because say the 2 cards come a 3 and a 3. Impossible to get between the 2 3's so the person wouldn't of course bet on that.

lol its a game where you have two cards, and you bet whether the next card is between the two cards. For example if there's a 2 and a J showing, you bet whether the next card will be a 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 or 10. if it is not between the "sheets" you lose your bet. thats pretty much all i know, i dont know the technical details however

LMAO T! But geez, I had a more exciting explanation in mind .
Sorry JR, too funny to pass up. I will be interested to see the rules, etc. for this game. Is it a poker based game, or another type? Have you tried a Google search for it?
