Hi there, Here are the rules for Fustration rummy, I have palyed this for years.
1) 3 sets of 3
2) 1 run of 4----1 set of 3
3) 2 sets of 3---1 run of 4
4) 2 sets of 4
5) 2 runs of 4
6) 4 sets of 3
7) 1 run of 7---1 set of 3
8) 2 runs of 4---1 set of 3
9) 3 sets of 4
10) 3 runs of 4
11) sets of 5
12) 2 runs of 5
13) 2 runs of 4---1 set of 4
14) 1 run of 9---1 set of 3
13 cards
jokers & duces wild----20 points
face cards----10 points
aces used at either end of run---15 points
low cards---5 points
runs must be same suit
2 deck of cards

Hey - these are the proper original rules =)
Frustration
Number of players – minimum of 3
2 packs of cards for 4 people, 3 packs for 6 or more people. (Include Jokers)
2’s and Jokers are Wild Cards (you cannot take or pick up wild cards from the pile)
POINTS
Jokers 50 points
2’s 20 points
Ace 20 points
10, K, Q, J 10 points
Others face alue
Everyone is dealt 11 cards.
Runs can be any suits, and players decide on whether 1 or 2 Wild Cards can be used in a 4 of a kind.
-Every hand gets one pickup from the pile or the top card of the graveyard, and then must discard one card to the graveyard.
-When one has a completed 'game' in their hand, they put those cards on the table.
-Round ends when one person completes their 'game' PLUS gets rid of their remaining cards by either expanding onto their game by adding onto their runs or sets (set of four Jacks becomes set of six Jacks, e.g.), or by add... | | Read Entire Entry |

I have only these for the rules. I tried to call my sister, but was unable to get a hold of her. She should remember the rest of the rules. Here are the runs etc.
Frustration
1. 3 sets of 3
2. set of 3, run of 4
3. set of 4, run of 4
4. 2 sets of 4
5. 2 runs of 4
6. 4 sets of 3
7. run of 7, set of 3
8. 2 sets of 5
9. 2 runs of 5
10. set of 6, run of 4
11. 3 sets of 4
12. 3 runs of 4
13. run of 10

The ersion I played used 2 decks of cards with jokers. Jokers and dueces are wild. Usually you played with many people. I believe you started by dealing 11 cards to each player. The object was to complete each level and end with the lowest score. You complete each level by creating the melds below. Once you placed these face up on the table you could discard by adding to other people melds or your own, or create new melds. play continued until someone was completely out of cards at which point those left with cards would calculate their points. if you were able to place your melds down you advance to the next level. if not you had to continue to try to make the level you were on. The levels I remeber are as follows...
2x 3 of a kind
2x runs of 3
3 of a kind and a run of 4
2x four of a kind
3 of a kind and a run of 5
3x 3 of a kind
a run of seven
3 of a kind and a run of 6
2x runs of 4
2x 5 of a kind
a run of 9
Scoring is as follows

I have the rules for a game Frustration BUT.....not all of them.......lol
I have the runs etc, but not how many cards you start with. Maybe between us we can figure it out......I will post it if you want.

Didn't involve picking up seven cards if you had black jacks did it? A game I played had that rule. I once tweaked it so ridiculously that it required at least four packs of cards, and pretty much every card did SOMETHING.
I should attempt to recreate that game.
