Each player then gets dealt 4 cards. Each player in turns a card over and bets. Make a 5 card hand using any combination of your 4 cards and the 3 cards in either row. Sometimes played this high-low.
Another ariation was called TicTacToe with 9 community cards dealt

I just got done talking to my old friend and we were talking about the game you mentioned called criss cross...sounds fun....but he started to explain Cincinnati...I do not claim to know my poker games but he said that T was totally wrong about Cincinnati....As far as him explaining it to me.....it sounds like a Variance of texas holdem....He said that you get 4 cards in the hole and I think....... 2 up and 2 down on the board.....something like that....but he was adament in saying that T was wrong.....I dunno....

cool thanks for the explanation T, i was at a poker game the other day where they were playin all sorts of games(omaha, double fuc-fuc,clock,elbow,pick-a-pile,points,criss-cross,stud,etc etc on and on all with arious qualifiers on high or low hands) and since i came expecting to play nl holdem and only four guys showed up, i decided what the hell, and lost about $100. Anymore talking u can do on these side-games would be appreciated, maybe u could even do a weekly focus on one particular side-game seein as how u seem so knowledgable on the subject.

The cards in the center are turned up one at a time, with a betting interval following the turn of each card; the active player at dealer's left bets first in each betting interval. After the final betting interval there is a showdown in which each player may select any five cards from among his hand and the five cards in the center.
Tennessee. This is the same game as Cincinnati except that the five cards to be exposed on the table are not dealt as an extra hand but are turned up, one by one, from the top of the undealt portion of the pack. How to play: Skill at games in which there are a large number of common cards is mainly a matter of comparing the alue of your hand with the ranks of cards faced as common cards. Thus, if a face card is turned as a common card, and you have cards which match it, you are in a good position.... | | Read Entire Entry |

Anybody ever heard of a poker game called Cincinnati. I probably spelled it wrong. Anyway I was talking with an old friend of mine and he mentioned a game he used to play a while ago. If anybody knows the game please let me know and also if they have anywhere online that you can play the game. Thanks.
