I dont mind playing online but no way I would play live because im 30+ and dont want to sit with a bunch of 15 year olds. But I do enjoy the strategy part of the game but Id rather played limited events then constructed. On mtgo I can play sealed and booster drafts.

well its pretty impossible to get in contact with him, it was 2 years ago and no clue who it is. I ended up changing the password, if he private messages me and says you took my account then I will give it to him no questions asked, but seeing as it dosent look like its been used in like forever I doubt he will.
as for refunding him for the account, the account was given free, he paid for the cards on account which it looks like he took so there is nothing to refund. Again if he asks for it back I would give it back right away, or I would pay him for it because I like the name.

What he said. You sold it, end of story. It is no longer yours to take. Contact him and buy it back for a fair price if he has pillaged all good cards from it. You sell a car and see it on the side of the road 2 years later and it looks abandoned. You still have your spare set at home. Do you go get them and see if she still runs? If it does do you take it? NO and NO!

If the previous owner was an attractive woman this would be more difficult to answer.

I wholeheartedly agree with Rob. I don't have strong feelings about it, but there's no ethical dilemma here - you've broken an agreement between you and the guy who bought your account. The fact that you earlier broke an agreement between you and the game administrators (or whatever) that you wouldn't sell the account doesn't make this okay.
And finally the fact that what you did wasn't "allowed" and therefore "shouldn't count" doesn't matter, ethically, either. It matters practically, because they will always consider the account yours, but ethically it's a n... | | Read Entire Entry |

ok so just got back on magic the gathering online, here is the thing though it costs $10 to start a account but in past I have had about 5 accounts total. Here is the thing I was going to retrive passwords because I dont remember them and I put in stormswa for the heck of it even though I sold the account awhile ago to someone. Well I was suprised to see my security question was same and got the password.
well I got on the account and it was pretty much picked through meaning all the good cards were taken which is to be expected. Now I would like to continue to play on account and magic the gathering online do not support or allow you to sell your accounts so when I asked them about it they didnt care what I did since as far as they are concerned its my account. So is it wrong to play this account? It does not seem like it is being used at all.
