I would say officially delayed indefinitely at this point. They're getting through their beta period right now. Obviously, nobody had a terribly clear idea of when they would be able to go live.

I talked to them a week or so ago, and they keep pushing back their date for going live. If you emailed them, they should be sending you some periodic updates. (At least that's what I told them to do, lol.)

Just got another mail, their program seems to suck though.
You cant play when you want but only a couple of hours in an
fixed schedule. If you want to play additional times, you can be
on their "on call" list and may play when they need additional props.
I dont like a fixed schedule at all, with two little kids nothing is fixed...

They simply cannot afford that. Poker sites are not in the business for paying the players.

The "job" is only for a month, so I would imagine that it is in their best interest to have as many players playing as possible for the first month. Then after that, I would assume that they'll probably cut down the number of props and/or cut down the percentage of rakeback.

I've received the latest emails, too, and they still do not mention what kind of rules there will be.

The (only) good news was , they at least seem to have a poker prop manager, so maybe they somehow can manage to pay 175%, but only under knowledgeable supervision, and maybe under somewhat stricter rules than in other prop programs

I think if you got the email (& the original one from ~10 days ago) and got the promo code, then you are in the 175% rakeback deal.

Not a snowballs chance in hell. New site, new and independent software. Not only will PT not work at start, PT Pat isn't going to expend the effort to make it work unless the site goes big.

Basicaly, if you prop you learn to do without PT.

I got an answer back in an hour. That however was when the offer first appeared. I think by now he is swamped and is using templat replys not the personal ones of a few weeks ago. You will probably be contacted in due course so keep your shirt on. Or is that your knickers.

I just got an email that suggests that a structured environment is being worked out. It also gives a 65% rakeback offer for unstructured play. This gives me much greater hope for the longevity of this.

The important question here is what seating rules there will be. 180% rakeback is much more like unto propping in a B&M where you are paid by the hour than the normal 100 or 110% rakeback where you are basically just playing for free. This will actually cost the site some serious money and they will need to be sure they get some value for it.

Unfortunately, I am beginning to think that this is some kind of one man show. I also think he is out of his depth and is likely to fuck it up by the numbers. He is trying to do the prop stuff by himself. He probably should have hired a prop outfit to setup and run a program for him with specific goals and rules.

What this all means to me is that I will give it a try. I will put minimal funds into the site and see what happens. If it goes like I am afraid it will then a bunch of whores cum props (all puns intended) will sit and bash at each other for a month or two. He will either learn fast, in which case we will end up in a structured ...

i'm sure this is legit, but my only problem is that it'll probably be extremely hard to find games and you may end up playing heads up against a fellow prop to get your 30 hours in. I guess not bad, considering you're getting 175% of your rake back, but still may not be the best scenario if you're not used to playing heads up which i'm not.

I can see where that is true, but if so, why require 30 hours/week? With a deal like this, I would think they'd have a swarm of interested people from bonuswhores.com if it were 15 table hours/week instead. Poll after poll has shown that the vast majority of people on this site work other jobs and don't have that kind of time to play. If the real problem is getting bodies, why require 30 hours? I know I would play this site as a prop if they allowed 15-20 hours per week instead. (Mystery site, feel free to PM me if you need people like me )

I sent off an email to the address letting them no my interest. I hope they are looking for NL players because this is what I am comfortable playing. Anyone know if this is an established software program or is this something completely new? I know that this will be a new standalone network but I hope they offer some sort of nice miniview for multitabling.

It's 30 table hours per week. Meaning that you can 2 table for 15hrs, 3 table for 10 hrs, 4 table for 7.5 hrs, etc.

Maybe I am wrong, but I assumed "Table Hours" to be literal, (i.e. if you are always playing 3 tables at once you only need to play 10 hours a week for a total of 30 table hours). But if its 30 clock hours regardless of the number of tables that you play, then I can see what everyone is concerned about because this will be much more difficult for those of us with day jobs to meet the requirements. Or are you guys concerned that there won't even be enough tables going for you to multitable? We may be getting ahead of ourselves here because the email I got back said that the details would be sent out soon, but does anyone know the specifics of the requirement and what the exact definition of a table hour is?

I would be more concerned about getting enough table hours than the site not paying. If you don't play more than 30 hours per week, will there be zero rake back?

Brendan

I would say the chances that they run off with your money to be less than 1 in a 1000, and the chances that they don't pay your prop pay/bonuses to be less than 1 in 500.

I've seen some sites crash in my time, and not pay their players (although haven't seen one for quite awhile.) However, when this happens it's not in the first month of operation. It's typically many months down the road. I wouldn't put my whole bankroll on the site, but I wouldn't lose sleep having a material portion of it there.

This is a new site however, not a relaunch.
