Ive seen alot of young talent go to waste over my years of playing. I play in clubs in NYC, mostly 100/200 limits, but wont play that online. Ive made poker a second job and have made alot of money doing it.
Heres a few hints in making money playing poker.
1) Dont play with money you CANT lose. Have you ever tended to fold when you shouldnt have, or over played a hand and not made alot of money, this is because the money you are playing with is too much.
2) If you are a ery good no-limit or pot-limit player ignore this, but my suggestion is to try to play fixed limit. The swings of no-limit arent as big, and you can still make alot of money. trust me.
3) Tilt. I know this is a killer, but whenever you feel like you are on tilt, just walk away from poker a bit, go see a show, drink some drinks or chill with the ladies.
4) Have fun. I hate crabby poker players, wanted to throw this is.
