Lol diab that was funny. I presume dongkey in that context to mean fish? Am I correct? Anyway, its just another bad beat and if youve gotten it 10 times in a row!? Youre just in another patch of bad luck dude. I doubt u have been playing for 15 years cause if u did you'd know whats its like playing poker, part of it is not letting the bad beats get to you, which it obviously has. Take some time off, your luck will change, getting bad beats means youre doing the right thing, youre calling in with the better hand, youre just missing the luck element, keep your play up and in time you'll get your money back and probly hand out some bad beats yourself. Good luck.

Well if we are going to be pedantic about this, providing he is not THE worst player in the world then he must one of the best players in the world

Did anyone notice that this was Chokitka's last post? A mixed blessing. On the one hand we will miss the contrubutions of "one of the top players in the world". On the other hand, that poem he posted made blood spurt out of my eyes and ears.

all them people and all their money
i cant stay away from it honey
all their moves and all that cash
i'm going to build my own little stash, cause
i flopped the lock ya
i flopped the lock
all this time and all this money
i dont even know if it sunny
all these bluffs and all these bad beats
i'm goning to be living in these streets, cause
you riverd the nuts, oh no
your rivered the nuts

Sorry to be petty ckokitka, but it's losing not loosing, straight not striaght and against not agianst.

(PS The odds of losing on the only 2 outs 10 consecutive times are 103,000,000,000,000,000,000/1 - you ARE unlucky!)

Hey, bill...In order to prevent completely confusing people, when you list the numbers in the equations, how about giving a written unit beside them so people can understand why you're using those numbers in which place. Otherwise its probably just as useful to post the 66:1 as its less confusing. Your posts are suberbly written and informative, although a bit on the technical side, and you don't want to make them so that some can't understand them. If that happens they will skip over your posts and miss a good opportunity to learn something aluable. My .02 cents.

Yeah your such a pro you play 10 hands in a row and lose them all i mean that is horrible. Your like the only "worlds best players" who cant take a bad beat lol.

Specifically, there are 8 cards in 6 combinations that make that hand. There are 47 unseen cards. So, the exact math is as follows:
1.) Total possible 2 card combinations from 47 unseen cards= 47x46/2x1= 1081
2.) Only Combinations of perfect perfect subtracting duplications(pairs 10,10 for example) 8x7/2x1=56
3.) Next we have... you know what from here I'd have a hard time explaining it.
Your odds are drum roll please...66.56 to 1 which justifies this bad beat post by 3 percent.

Bill

Speaking of Mike Matusow, here's a funny exchange from him during a tournament.

Jack: Mike, can you introduce everyone?

Mike M: Yeah, ill introduce everyone. Overrated donkey, internet donkey, tournament donkey, and Andy Bloch.

Jack: Thanks for the update, Mike.

Mike M: You're ery welcome.

Good stuff, from the Mouth himself.

I must admit, when I take a series of bad beats I start to wonder if the site isn't rigged. Everyone who plays online wants to believe that POKER a game that has historically been synonymous with cheating is now completely straight up in all situations!!! LOL

Even my suspicions don't prevent me from playing though. I find that the majority of play is on the up and up. When I see one player continuously sucking out on everyone at the table taking down pot after pot on crazy play, I pretty much just avoid them. I know, I know, they are a bad player and will lose their money right? Well, just in case they are a shill working for the site(or some brilliant hacker who knows the cards), I don't want to go against them. Simple. I consider all the possibilities and am better off for it.

Another bad beat whine. Jeez, Louise, there should be a forum site just for nothing but bad beat stories and bitching. www.2amFeeding.com? As long as people sit down at their computer carrying more money than sense, bad beats are going to happen. Period. The only way I know to even begin to trim down on the number of bad beats is to play real money ring games exclusively at the $3/$6 tables or higher. Or go to the casino where they can physically see their cash leave their possession. No risk, no restraint.

Meantime, do us all a favor, take a deep breath, and SHUT UP about getting sucked out on. We ALL get sucked out on. EVERY DAY. Good luck at the tables.

Its tough to come to grips dude, but noone cares about your bad beats. We all have them. Maybe you should think more about when you hit 1 of your 2 outs on the river.

Wow, we here at CardsChat have one of the best players in thw world right here amongst us. So c'mon out of the closet man, stop hiding behind the screen-name. Who am I talking to? Harrington, Negreanau, Ferguson, Brunson, Ivey, Hellmuth, Siedel, seriously just tell us, the suspense is killing me! All jokes and delusional statements aside, it sounds to me like you have just been getting drawn out. Having pots sucked out from under you. Its a bitch, but it happens to the best of us man. Also, I am far from a grammar nazi, but you should seriously look into hiring a proofreader (since you're one of the top players in the world, I'm sure you can afford it) because your post was a nightmare to read. IMHO, take the bad beats on the chin and press on, the cards will heat up eventually and you'll catch some hands and recoup some of your losses.

lol, k I concede yes there is going to be some statistics that say what percentage of the time he should get drawn out on, but what i was saying is that for it to happen as he says it was just blind luck on the callers part(10 hands in a row would really suck).

What do you mean there's no math? Pre-flop, all-in, high pair is about 82% favored to win against low pair or a little less than 5:1.
