The statistic that jumps out at me is only 1 pot won without showdown. It sounds like you call a lot of preflop bets but rarely raise preflop (or at other times for that matter). You want to be tight-aggressive, but it sounds more like you're loose-passive. One thing I would reccommend is betting 50% or more of the pot when you think you have the best hand, but there is a good chance someone else has a flush or straight draw (assuming you don't already have better than that). Then those people SHOULD fold. If they don't, then those kinds of people are losing money to you in the long run.

Here is what can be considered a tight-aggressive players hand history for one tournament:

PokerStars Tournament #9608635, No Limit Hold'em
Super Satellite
Buy-In: $2.00
1420 players
Total Prize Pool: $2840.00
Target Tournament #9356551
9 tickets to the target tournament

You finished in 5th place (eliminated at hand #2049837301).

332 hands played and saw flop:
- 6 times out of 43 while in small blind (13%)
- 15 times out of 38 while in big blind (39%)
- 23 times out of 251 in other positions (9%)
- a total of 44 times out of 332 (13%)

Pots won at showdown - 12 out of 18 (66%)
Pots won without showdown - 28

I saw 44 flops in 332 hands!, Look how many pots I won...most of the won without showdown were blind steals or bets post flop that took the pot down.

This 5th place finish was a nice cash, looking at my stats can show you how little hands you have to play to make a big finish.

Went out of the 40K when my all-in with KK got busted by some brave soul calling me pre-flop with A Q and hits ace on the flop

I was a bit gutted but qualified through an $11 satelite so not too bad

Looking at your numbers, what jumps out at me is that you only saw 4 out of 10 flops from the Big Blind. Was that because your blinds were being constantly raised into? You weren't folding in the Big Blind when there were no raises on the table, instead of checking and seeing a "free" flop, were you? If you folded 6 BB's to raises, be careful that you weren't getting pushed around too much. If a lot of those raises came late in the round, from the last two positions, you may have been ictimized by a blind thief who caught on that you were going to lay down for any raise. Sometimes you have to fire back at those guys, whether you have a hand or not, just to keep them honest.

The loose play definitely comes from seeing a whopping 19 flops from "other positions". It's hard to imagine that you actually had nineteen hands worth playing out of only 53 deals. That would be pretty extraordinary.

Just to provide some contrast, I played yesterday in a $5 rebuy tourney on ...

Play money tournaments can be fun and there are lessons to be learned. The ring games are a waist. 6/45? Not bad PP 100.

Mine is around 20-25%, this would be about average for a reasonable/good player. You may get an unbelievable run of good cards that will increase the average but that will even itself out over tight

But, yes, you saw flop far too many flops.

Ya, sounds like you played too loose (as others have said). But you guys who said he needs to be closer to 20% need to realize that he was probably short-handed a good amount of the time (sounds like it was a 5 table tourney, where tables will be short-handed before they are combined). Out of the stats you showed, the % won at showdown is more important to me than flops seen. The mechanics of how many flops to take is not as important in tournament play as it is in a cash game. What is important is that when you have the best of it, you play it aggressively, and dont get involved otherwise. So 5 out of 8 showdowns won is not a good statistic, especially with only one pot won without showdown. It's hard to give you specific advice just based on statistics of one tournament, but it seems like you need to be a little tighter, and much more aggressive.

Thats generally a good statistic but like the poker guru said, try to keep it around 20% or even less if you are in real money games. I guess its pretty hard to do that for play money, to be honest I dont really care about play money and Ive quit playing them cause it eventually degenerates into terrible play on my part. It affects my game and mostly its because Ive got better things to do with my time.

Tight Aggressive generallt means you play about 20 percent of your the hands you are dealt and you raise with the hands you decide to play. Not bad for play money though! Keep workin on it

if you wanna play tight, you saw WAY too many flops. You shouldnt play even half that many hands (considering that you say you are tight)

ON pokerstars .I played for play money chips hoping to win it.( i played seriously)

I came in 6th place out of 45

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 71 hands and saw flop:
- 4 out of 10 times while in big blind (40%)
- 4 out of 8 times while in small blind (50%)
- 19 out of 53 times in other positions (35%)
- a total of 27 out of 71 (38%)
Pots won at showdown - 5 of 8 (62%)
Pots won without showdown - 1

Any advice or suggestions?? I like to play tight
