Nice one fella that would be brilliant. I need all the help I can get! Don't really have anything to offer in return. I'll repay you at some stage.

Hi
To those of you who sent me a pm, i hope your happy with your new tool!
Whilst inserting a few hands etc i found that 2 3 off is the worst hand against any random hand 'cold' ( ie no betting on the flop ). I always thought it was 7 2 but i also saw that Sklansky mentioned it too.
2 3 is 32% against a random hand heads up
2 7 is 34.5% against a random hand heads up. It looked at over 26 BILLION games to come up these figures, pretty cool.

Hi All,
I was searching the net for a few statistics and stumbled upon a beauty. I mentioned it in the GAP theory thread but thought it deserved its own thread.
Here's the lowdown:
you can type in a specific hand against a range of other possible hands that opponents might hold.
An interesting stat i got was that against 2 players K Q off is roughly 45% to win preflop against any 2 random hands. This is an amazing tool..another example you can use for it is if you know what kind of hand your opponent might have but not too sure, you can enter a range of possibilities. It calculates equitys from over 6 billion hands!!! Amazing stuff when you think about it.
As no one can really put someone on an exact two cards...this machine will allow you to enter a range of alues, such as if you think your opponent might be holding anything from A 9 to A K then this machine will calculate the equity against your hand preflop or post flop.
I read in one of Sklansky's book that he too... | | Read Entire Entry |
