Before anyone goes wild on this specific tip, please note that TJ Cloutier is by no means a young man, and has played probably millions of hands of poker. Further note that he says that he "once" called down a bluffer with nothing but a lone king, and extrapolate that to how many times YOU should be calling down a bluffer with nothing but a lone king.
Sorry, just wanted to earn our readers a few hundred bucks in accumulated savings because "f TJ can do it, so can" they :P

thats an awefull dtrong statement considering all the gr8 trny players out there. I would argue that dan harrington who made final table 2 yrs running main event with several thousand ppl in field and phil ivey not to mention phil hellmuth and others too numerous to mention.

Oh Yes TJ, he is probally the best tournament player around, he has over 55 Major tournament Wins. Heres a man that worked on the oil rigs in Texas, then realised he could make more money playing poker. My hat is off to TJ, in my opinion he IS the best tournament player around.

For those of you who don't know, T.J. Cloutier is a professional poker player who was the first person to earn $1 million at the World Series of Poker without winning the championship event and was named player of the year by Card Player magazine in 1998 and 2002. This article I read listed some tips for T.J. that I would like to share with you. I find some of these tips are debatable.
Tip #1: A pair of kings in the pocket is the most difficult hand to play in no-limit Texas hold 'em, Cloutier said. That's a little surprising, given kings are the second-most powerful hand. "With aces, you know where you are," Cloutier said. "And you can get away from queens (if you sense you're beat). But with kings, how do you get away from them? The answer is, you usually don't."
Also, kings "seem to be magnetized. They seem to bring an ace right to the board every time."
