Anyway, things sorted themselves out, I got the money to my credit card, without any rake whatsoever, very nice! Just a lot of work.

Where to go next, I wonder! The 250 raked hands seems very easy compared to the 3000, 5000 and others I read about

Please do, I have a nagging doubt that there is nothing wrong with Golden Riviera, maybe all the poker sites are this cumbersome to deal with.... Damn!

I heard nothing for two days and went in for a 3rd round with Golden Riviera live support (I must say I appreciate the live support, I have no idea how this would have played out without it):

Newton: Welcome to the Casino Support Desk. How can I help you?
Dan: hi, newton, i talked to you two days ago about cashing out to a visa card, remember?
Newton: No, I don't recall, how may I assist you.
Dan: here is a recap: (removed from this post by me)
Dan: we talked about 24 hrs for this, but I have received no mail and no cash yet
Newton: It takes 24 hours for finance department to process the cashout, then between 5 and 9 working days for the payment to be processed into your method of payment. One moment while I check my records.
Dan: ok, i'd just like some confirmation that it has been received and that the process has been initiated, cash to a credit card should be a little faster than 5-9 days (partypoker did it in one) but that is not very critical, I just want to know...

My cashout would be in SEK, not Euro. Can you give me a rundown of the total fees you would have to pay, isn¨t there something like a monthly fee? And bad exchange rates?

I have a huge bankroll, it is only the bottom line that matters to me, thus paying as small fees as possible is very interesting to me (more important than speed etc)

Newton: I have just confirmed with our withdrawals department of other options which is your VISA that can be selected in your banking page. We hope this meets your approval, as it will charge the least as you have requested.
Dan: But VISA can not withdraw more than the original deposit, can it? If it can, it is of course the best option
Dan: Partypoker was able to do this, so that would be very good if you could as well
Dan: Can¨t find VISA or credit card in the withdrawal options list
Dan: If I try "Reverse withdrawal" it just says that it can't be done, there are no reverse withdrawals available
Newton: You can withdraw an amount exceeding you original deposit with your VISA.
Dan: Great, how do I do it?
Newton: Please go to the banking page and select the card you are using, then go to the withdrawals options and make the withdrawal by following the instructions.
Dan: There is no option to choose a card on the withdrawals page
Newton: Please note that...

I got no response from the email (although I did not wait more than 8 hrs) but when I used the live support, I got the bonus after 2 hrs. I had to play one more hand, their system only saw 249 hands but the software said 250. Of course, I lost 6 BB on that hand

Now it will be interesting to see if a wire transfer to Sweden is a simple thing to do for the guys at Golden Riviera...

Three emails got no response, so I called the toll free number and Kim at casino support credited me with the deposit bonus.

I asked about where I could go to see how many Golden Points I earned and she gave me a website, but it showed loyalty points earned in the casino and not at the poker table. Oh well.

Nope, its no big deal. I have registered and claimed bonus on about 10 Prima sites, all with the same alias. In fact, you are likely to have more problems if you change your alias than the other way around.

Was wondering if I could get the bonus or not. I'd like to see what you guys know, so I don't have to bother with depositing, talking to CS, etc.

The only Prima skin I have signed up at is Dream Poker. I've never deposited there. I didn't even try to get the free $10 (hell I haven't even checked).

To all of ya'll who didn't get the bonus,

Give them a call at

UK 0800-051-6412

USA 888-652-3987

(the rest of the countries on their page)

I did, and the bonus was deposited while I was on the phone in about 10 minutes. It's definately worth 10 minutes to get that bonus highlander133, unless you're on those 100/200 tables

Basically, a rakeback program- anybody have any idea of where to find how many GPs you have accumulated? For most whores this probably only works out to $20 or so extra, but worth holding out on the cash out from the sound of it.

I couldn't find the GP's listed anywhere, you'd think they'd put a counter in the lobby or something. According to the link, you get 1 GP per 10 raked hands, so I think you just divide your raked hands by 10 to figure out your GP's (and the raked hands are counted in the lobby).

This was one of the toughest bonuses I have had to get credited. I finished it on Monday, used the email in the poker client, which is usually fastest for Prima rooms, multiple additional emails throughout the week, and finally credited today after a phone call.

However, while looking for a phone number, I ran across a "Golden Point" promotion

Damn nails, how many tables were you playing at once to clear that in 2 hours straight up? Yall are right bout' those CS reps, they gotta deal with all the skins of the network at once. HighLander, sounds like if you stay on em' then they'll eventually deposit it... that's $50 for free for shooting off a few e-mails. If I wuz you... just an idea man. I'm currently working on the bonus now, glad I figured out it was only at the .25/.50 tables since I was going for raked hands on .10/.20. THAT would have been fun...

CS Rep: Hi, can I help you?
Me: Yea, I have enough hands for that bonus
CS Rep: OH, you have to play at the .50BB tables for that, I'm sorry sir...
Me: ......shit

Good job on reading the fine print BedofNails, I need to start doin' that for bonusii (I wonder if that's how you'd pluralize bonus in Greek)

I have never had a problem with golden riviera. But one thing I have noticed about live chat is that these CS morons have to deal with several different prima sites and promotions so they get very very confused sometimes.

Im sure they thought you were talking about the Crazy Poker free $10 for awhile. Usually you have to spend some time educating them before they will be able to help you. You have to put them thru a small training program of how poker bonuses work and then they might actually be able to do their job and give you some fleeting glimpse of actual customer support.

good luck

First post, thought I'd make it a whiny one

I opened an account with Golden Riviera to do this promotion, and never received the bonus. Ever. No responses to email, no responses in live chat...nothing. It's only $50, so I didn't pursue it to heavily, but needless to say, it was aggravating.

EDIT: BONUS CREDITED within 24 hours of request!

I guess if you stay on top of them (I emailed all three addresses) they get it done!

Sweet.

Flew though the Golden Rivera sign up tonight in about 2 hours.

At the advice of some previous posts by veteran whores (found under search function..wink), I tried the "live support" to have my bonus credited.

The comedy that ensued, well see for yourself.

Quinton: Welcome to the Casino Support Desk. How can I help you?

Jason: I have completed my poker signup bonus, and would like it credited to my account, can you help?

Quinton: Yes you will need to register your credit card then send us an e-mail stating that you would like to redeem the free money. The bonus will then be credited within 24 hours thereafter

Jason: ?
Jason: why would i need to register a cc?
Jason: i deposited via netteller

Quinton: These are the terms and c...
