Switch gears and try to pick up extra blinds on rags.

How do you change from "very tight to ery aggressive"?

Tight is not the opposite of aggressive, it is the opposite of loose. And passive is the opposite of aggressive.

Sorry to nit pick, but this is a pretty important distinction in my opinion.

I have to assume you mean that you change from tight to loose (?), and that we are talking about tournaments here (since that is the general wisdom as the blinds get higher)?

I know the feeling.

Ok, so I'm in a bit of a slump. Well, a big slump

First phycologically you have to change your perspective from losing to winning. Take a break, get away from the tables do something that builds confidence. It don't have to be poker it could be anything from paying attention to the family or doing something impressive at work.

When you come back to the game come with a winning/positive attitude. Learn to recognize the negative swing/phycological slump and don't play when you see it comming.

One of the most important rules overlooked by poker players is.
Play when you're winning and quit when you're losing.

I play pretty much straight foward poker. I make the obvious calls and folds.

Maybe too obvious and too straight forward. Maybe you need to mix it up when they expect you to be solid and be solid when they expect you to be mixing it up.

Ok, so I'm in a bit of a slump. Well, a big slump..... When I first started Online Poker, I was winning money like crazy. And for the past few months. All of that is gone. I don't really know what I'm doing wrong. So I'd thought u guys would maybe give me some new things to try and see if my luck changes.

OK, heres my general strategy:

I play pretty much straight foward poker. I make the obvious calls and folds. I wait for the right hand to come by and then take advantage of that hand, and get the most for it. I do have a tendency to get too atached to a hand and make some poor descions. I play pretty tight in the first couple of blinds. Once I doubt up (and that is if I do) I hit the gas petal. Changing from ery tight to ery agressive.

Any suggestions on new strategy's?

I've been searchin for weeks to try and find a few rare card games on the internet and have come up empty. I thought maybe this would be a good place to post the question.

the first game is "follow the queen" - i know a few of you have played it with friends (i have read quite a few posts on here before i started the thread)

the second game is "7/27" (6 and a half/21 ... many ariations)

the third game is "31" - three cards, have to be suited to knock, low man is out. --- i used to have this game on my pc but i must have deleted it a while back.

i am looking for these games in a pc ersion. Thanks in advance for any help.

Position refers to who's turn it will be to act. The person who is first in line to have the option the bet, is in "first position."

Relax, play some free-rolls and have some fun. Bugsy's is a great place to get you feet wet. Lots of free-rolls and a small town atmosphere.
