Another way to clear your head is to change the type of game you are playing. In your case, take a break from the sit-n-goes and play low limit cash ring games. It helps to change your perspective.

Have you really gone on tilt or are you just losing tournaments? It is pretty normal to lose a few in a row even when you are playing good poker, sometimes luck just isnt on your side. I had a slump about 5 months ago where I didnt place in 11 straight SnGs. I wasnt on tilt, I was just card dead and getting dealt bad beats. As long as you keep playing good, you will come around.

If you truly are on tilt, and this is why you are losing, then I would suggest a few days off to clear your head.

well im not saying that at all!

It all depends where you are at in poker. Like I said I can deposit if I lose my money online so if I go through like $400 online its not a big deal. But then there are others that only have that $400 to play with and cant or dont want to deposit anymore for those people yes bankroll management is freaking huge.

Plus if I go say 2 weeks without playing its no real big deal to me, I just come here and chat with other good players about it. Like I could deposit but I want to set up my dual monitors 1st and that trumps poker right now because I want that more then to play online. If I have any extra money after that then yea I might make a deposit but if not no biggie to me I will just deposit later. Im lucky that I have a job where If I want more money its easy to pick...

The numbers i was talking about were the ones that are links, that take you to sharkscope when you click them.
stormswa, i know what you mean about grinding, but when you succeed it feels great. Nothing feels better than withdrawing $250 from a poker site that you have never made a deposit to.

I know what they mean,

they are his loses per sittings or winnings.

BUT

poker is not ranked by sitting but by overall play. If you start thinking of your play by how each sitting is you will always be on tilt because you can easily have a horrible sitting/day/week/month and then make it all back plus more the week after. It is just how the game goes, I have had some of the most horrible weeks ever. I actually never kept strict records of my play because I would just deposit money and play and play with what I had until it was gone. I never had a running bankroll, man If I posted some of my sessions I would be on massive tilt but I don't think of it like that because its just one long session.

honestly I never cared if I won or lost because I had the ability to deposit if I wanted to. I might start tracking though and start trying to grind (yuck), I hate g...

Its not easy to get off tilt. I have lost my well earned BR 3 times now due to tilt. I always blamed it on bad luck, but i belive no one can lose their BR because of bad luck alone.
Taking a break works and if you only play NLHE try playing some other games, that helped me alot.
About a month ago i never knew how to play omaha hi/low and only ever played holdem, but after taking a break from holdem and playing omaha (a lot) i went back to holdem feeling ready to play again, and another bonus was that i learned a new game.
I now spend about 40% of my time playing omaha.
Moving down in stakes also helps, but the best thing is to just forget about it and move on to the next game.
You have got to play each hand the same if your winning or losing, its hard to do but GL.
