I'm currently reading it. Lederer's Leverage section was a good essay and expanding on what it means to play a LAG style. It's good that they don't all agree on the same ways of doing things. Ted Forrest's chapter was defiantely interesting. I'd recommend it.

I got the book, it's great, but do the type of players that play online at full tilt some of the hands need to be adjusted for, but excellent info for live play.

I used some of my full tilt points to recieve one in the mail. It helped me alot in MTT. Andy Bloch has made many different tables on hands and there odds b4 the flop. I find it ery interesting how highly intelligent these pro's are. Just goes to show, not only people down on their luck/ people who couldn't succeced at anything else play poker. I Highly recommend this book, everything from NL Holdem-Razz.

Its just like any other poker book, it tells you what to do for certain hands, but how many times does it happen just like its says, not to often

I enjoyed Howard Lederer's section on "leverage". This is the only section I have read so far as it was suggested to me by another respected player. I may eventually start reading through the rest.

I am in my second read of 'Professional No-Limit Hold 'Em' and I believe it is excellent. You should definitely check it out.

As AG said, it has received some excellent reviews. Some of the high rollers in another forum have given glowing reviews.

I've read it. Great book. I fell asleep in Mike Matusows chapter on Omaha Hi/Lo and I skipped over the last chapter on Roshambo. The best chapters were Andy Blochs No-Limit Hold'em: Play Before the Flop and Chris Fergusons No-Limit Hold'em: Play After the Flop. My only gripe with this book was the print quality. For $30.00 I would have liked to see something better than newspaper. My highlighter kept bleeding through to the next page.

I picked it up a little at the airport and it was actually somewhat intresting. Huck Seed wrote only a little but I found it helpful none the less.

It has sections by arious FullTilt pros. They obviously worked on these and tried to make something worthwhile. Chris Fergason's section on post-flop play is good, I enjoyed Richard Brodies and Gavin Smiths sections.
And I liked this quote from the online tournament chapter by Brodie:
Quote:
You have to take your opponents as you find them. Adjusting to your opponents is the most important skill you can delvelop in poker. Where is the benefit of figuring out a theoretical "correct" play, recognizing that your opponents aren't sophisticated enough to get it, trying it anyway, and then complanining that your opponents are dumb?
